Just a few notes. I tried this a few hours last night and still a bit buggy for heavy use, but definitely heading in a good direction.

1) Without any modification my taskbar gets screwy upon first boot. The battery icon and several other icons go mission.

2) the taskmanager on the front screen that lets you close down programs don't work. a) it doesn't shut down programs by pushing "x" and b) it doesn't show programs that are open. you have to open one of the main task managers to close everythign.

3) you mention about this being a clean rom with no added stuff, well for me it has a TON of stuff on it. i think most users would rather cab up stuff they won't to install instead of having all the bloat. Just my personal opinion though. It's your ROM, so great job in the few days you've had it out.

1. I dont own an alltell touch pro myself, so all testing on an alltel device is up to other users. On the sprint version, we do not have this problem you speak about.

2. htc task manager (x button) default its not set to close programs, if u click the wrench, you can manually set it to close programs when clicked. I have personally never had to open any other task manager to close a program.

3. Everything included in the rom i use. And if you read my first post correctly, it 'STARTED' out clean, then i re-add what i am going to be using. Sorry for any confusion.

All and all, sounds like you screwed something up along the way. I would reflash and do a hard reset afterwards. If you can show me a screenshot of these problems, i can try to see what i can do. I can not duplicate the problems that you speak of myself . 0115 was released today, may solve some of the problems you are having.

i appreciate the walk through, but i'm very familiar with the TP and have tested and helped with ROM building since the Apache (as you said). I always make sure the Task manager is set to close programs. So not sure why that's not working.

as far as the taskbar, i have no clue on that. Most roms are multi-carrier now, so i wouldn't think these issues are carrier specific...but again, maybe they are.

those were just my opinions though. enjoy your rom.

the differences between the sprint rom and the alltel rom are very small, sprint applications (tv/nav/mms) have been removed. Arcsoft MMS was added. And obviously the carrier files. The reason i didnt do multi carrier is because i believe it would be pointless for alltel users to have sprint tv, etc. in their phone. Hope this helps.

Hey Man keep up the good work.. first time poster prett much a noob to the seen flashed your rom works fine.... awsome ... just a few buggs i got here n their wonder if anything u have seen i sometimes get a dim screen while using the phone... gets locked up for as few sec while new commands are being used... overall great experince worked wonderfull right out the gate.. keep up the good work man love ur rom.

can you make the phone go dim on command? if so, could you give an example of how to do it? that way i can try to duplicate it on my device and see what could be causing it. Glad you are enjoying otherwise.

it happens on its own while browsing the phone also while in contacts and trying to edit a contact.. hitting menu on intial entry into contacts freezes up the phone and phone goes dim screen goes dim and freezes wont light back up have to soft reset phone.. also im a having and issues maybe its just me is their a way to add ringtones to specific contacts cuz i am unable to do so for some reason... just updated to V0115 much faster and snappier than last build dude u r awsome... thanks in advance..

ok i was able to duplicate the dim screen. when i went to the contacts, and clicked menu, it dims, as if the menu for that screen is missing. if you click back right away, it should turn ur screen back to normal lighting, trying to exit it any other way seems to keep the phone dim. I will look into this. It seems like a problem with the rhodium manila, but i will definitely try to fix it. I appreciate the good feedback.

To add a custom ringer for a contact: In the manila contact card, there is no option. but if you goto start/contacts, and bring up the old contact screen, you will see all the options there. Hope this helps.

if the contacts menu goes dark then the music menu does not work either, use showaco background on all tabs,and it will solve that problem but it will break the clock going to history .
