So what's the difference between 209 and 300?

a couple of fixes on some minor bugs, more stable and hopefully when it comes out with the lite less memory usage, cause at 50+% it dont feel much diff than 30% but it just bothers me that its using 20+% more.

The most complete ROM ever. Runs very well. great job

Two questions, hope this has not been asked.
I just read 120 pages and didn't see it.
1. Why for Verizon is 16 page pool better?
2. How do you change back light from 50% to !00%? I tried settings/power/backlight and cant make changes (have bad eyes)

From my understanding, the lower PP is better for Verizon users since they crippled the TP so much. The Sprint TP has room to spare for a higher PP.

As far as I know, the backlight issue is a known issue for 209. I and a few others have the same problem. Hopefully it'll get fixed in 300! I think it is just a manila issue.

Someone suggested using Lumos a few pages back. Could be a good idea for you! I didnt like it all that much b/c it seemed to make my battery life terrible, but I do like my backlight pretty bright.

And deck...gonna add any eye candy to 300? 209 is pretty much damn near perfect other than the minor bugs here and there, so Ive been curious if you were ever gonna add any of that.

Im still having an issue with any non http apps accessing the web. I dont recall having this issue with 205 but 209b3 and 300b1 fring, twikini, netflix mob mgr, pocket tweet ect cannot connect their distant ends. opera, quick gps, and manilla weather work fine though. from the naked rom I install the cricket carrior cab and configure my http/wap creds and that is typically it. But in this case Im having issues any help would be awesome!

I have been using 0209 for a few days and I really love it except for the fact that s2u2 no longer works with my animated screensavers. I really like s2u2 and yet i really like the speed and stability of this rom. I have been using StarROM 2.0 since June and it has been the most stable ROM I have ever used, 10-20% more memory usage at around 60-65%. Your ROM however is just as stable and almost twice as quick at around 45% memory usage is great but the s2u2 thing is a deal breaker for me. If 0300 has a fix for s2u2 I will use forever.

if you are verizon he recommends pp set to 16
to change pp use the file call "PagePool_Changer.exe" before flashing.
