No, it will just be a new rom, your radio remains the same until you manually change it.

Honest man, I'm really not sure, I have never heard of your carrier before, I am positive someone will read this and help you out.

I assume you are using a TP on MetroPCS?? Did you buy it from them or did you port it from another carrier, i.e. Sprint or Verizon?? If you ported the phone from Sprint, then this rom will work on your phone. There's a metropcs guide floating around the TP forum.

just fyi, it's a newer prepay cellcarrier, at least in Florida, but it's gaining a following since it's $45.00 a month for unlimited useage.

See Post #2 for Manila fixes, not to far after the rom download links.

look at post 2019 page 202, unzip all files to windows dir. and yes to overwrite the old ones. Make sure to turn off manila before you install the files. good luck and hit thanks if this helps

Did anyone notice the touch zoom start working again on the multitouch button? Mine started working today it wasn't earlier in the day and I pulled my phone out and accidentally zoomed. It worked both for texts and opera? Maybe I bumped an option in my pocket?

Does anyone else get random hard resets over time? I'm still on v0205 but so far on every version the phone will hard reset itself anywhere between 1 and 3 weeks of use. Usually it gets stuck or performs very poorly. I end up soft resetting it to reboot it and it will hang for a while and come in to the first time setup screen.

The funny thing is that it will partially hard reset. All contact and personal data is in there, but all the other apps are broken and everything is back to default. I end up having to manually hard reset to get it back to normal. So far i've been lucky enough that this happens at home and not on the road (I travel frequently). I wanted to know if anyone has witnessed the same issue, and if so, have you resolved it?
Have you ever watched or seen it the phone start into the hard resets you are seeing? I had this happen to me on Wednesday and had no clue what happened other than when I was driving and looked down at the phone to see that First-boot configuration crap on the screen for some reason. When it was done, I had some middle of the road state where some things were personalized and some were fresh from the ROM flash.

Interestingly, it happend to me again this evening and I was able to see what I think might be leading to the problem. I realized that in my case it happend after I reset the phone, and this time I was watching as it happened.

The phone booted up to what should give the unlock screen (use it for work email and we have the policy to require a password) and instead I get several flashes and then the wonderful warning that too many bad passwords have been entered and I needed to enter the "a1b2c3" to continue to attempt to enter the password. Unfortunately, a few seconds later it pops up the "One more bad password and the phone data will be wiped", followed several seconds later by a shutdown and upon reboot the phone was wiped and started the ROM default config cycle again.

The only thing I can think of on the phone that interacts with the password and unlock interface is Sprite Backup - I also know that I remember a couple of time with Sprite Backup having some wierd issues on previous ROMs I have had on the phone when it is set to override the unlock to allow the backup to operate on reboot.

So, do you have your phone synced to Exchange with a security policy enforced for unlock settings? And do you use Sprite and set it to override unlock the phone for you after the index and reboot? I do have those things set and now wonder if that is where the problem is coming from. I am going to skip using Sprite for a while and see if it happens again, but it has happened with the 0205 beta and 0209 builds so far - never before those two. Previously I had seen some odd behavior at the password screen when backing up, but it never went so far as to blow through the security policy threshold on its own like this. Crazy stuff indeed.
