Look for a "modified verizon prl" that will kill your roaming indicator.

It's because you're using a verizon prl, with a sprint pri. Makes the phone think it's always roaming. The modified prl lies to the pri about which towers it's on. The modified prls use the verizon network, but they are marked as sprint in the prl so the pri reports to the phone that it's not roaming.

##778# will get you in to epst, then you'll be able to update your prl there. Just place one of the modified ones on your storage card and use that to update it. Just google "modified verizon prl"... you'll find it.

Hey deck, beta two working well! Only a few wierd probs, not sure if they have been mentioned, but I didn't see them anywhere.

1. When getting a phone call, sometimes can't hear the other caller very well, even if volume is at 100%. Have to play with the volume a little by bumping down one notch then back up and that fixes it.

2. HTC Album will display whatever picture I select, but only for a few seconds. Then it jumps back to whatever the first photo in the album is.

3. Sprint TV seems to have some wierd screen alignment probs. Must be the new version.

4. You tube never really hits full screen. Looks like it's you tube for qvga devices.

Would've done a bug report sooner, but I didn't want to jump to it too quick until I had really tested the rom. So far the volume thing is the only one that really causes me any real trouble. GOOD WORK MAN!

1. On mine I can hear them but they get an echo. I have to turn the volume down.

2. not having any issue with HTC Album.

3. Sorry can't test this.

4. I believe Deck will be using a different version on the next beta.

I have 732 contacts, and I'm not having a lag. Maybe you should try flashing back to stock. Then hard reset. Then flash the beta2 and hard reset again, beforing restoring all of your data.

I think I know what your problem is. Did you use MyPhone to back up your text messages?

When I backed my data up with Microsoft MyPhone, before I flashed SsS ROM v0204, then after, I restored my info. I had the same problem you are having. None of my texts were in order. For example, in various threaded convos, there was no time stamp and all my texts were together and all my friend's texts were together.

So, the next time when I got ready to flash the beta2, I used PIM Back up instead of MyPhone. And when I restored my info, all of my texts were fine and in their correct order. So, I think the problem is MyPhone. Hope this helps.

Well, the beta2 has been pretty much flawless for me. I've got my music store , no problems with gps (even though I know others are having a few issues), no problem with sms (now that I back up with PIM instead of MyPhone).

Actually, the only issue I did see is that the buttons on the YouTube app are blank. So, can you check on that one deck?

EDIT: Similar to Veedub's comment: Sprint TV only works in portrait. Landscape has improper scaling; doesn't reach full screen.

I'm having the blank screen problem also on youtube. Other then that flawless. How do you get the music store to work?
