thanks, i neglected to say that i tried both a "hard reset" and a "clear storage". still the same sluggish results...

I have a question, Im using a Sprint HTC Touch Pro. Just downloaded and installed your IPhone Rom. And I noticed a few things with this rom that Id like to know if there is a fix to. First off I love the rom, but here are my issues so far.

-Battery life is terrible.
-After a very short period of time/use, my whole phone lags up. I have to run the Task manager and Clean Ram to restore performance.
-Text messages are very slow to load wether sending or recieving. Takes several seconds to send messages (im talking like 20+sec) and several minutes to recieve messages sent to me. Sometimes as long as 20+ mins.

Any help will be very appreciated with these issues.

Well i can definitely say I love this rom, this might be my permaRom, I have flashed an innordinate amount and I love the Iclone, it does seem to put on weight with use though, originally i was getting 28-38% of mem used now its almost always in the 40's, and the volume is still very glitchy, i think its the new volume control that you added doesnt play well with others. If you are planning on doing more work on this Rom for pay only I would very much consider throwing some your way coolsac. Thanks and I look forward to whatever you cook up next.

I can't get the volume keys to work nor will it change the phone from vibrate to ring. Any suggestions for a fix?

Ya the volume buttons where a issue with me as well. I can see several others are in the same boat as I am. We all LOVE the IClone Rom, but all are having the same issues with programs loading super slow. Texts taking forever to load and the rom being very sluggish in general. Any work being done to solve those issues? Or is there some settings we can do to improve performance? Any suggestions would be awesome...

I've got to say that I have no problem with my text messages, the only programs I have noticed to be slow are widgets, and then loading showcase to close out programs, of course I added showcase though and that problem exists within showcase by the developers own admission. The memory getting higher than previously irks me because the less memory in use the better the battery life, but I have to say I don't have nearly the same kind of sluggish program loading as other roms.

Though the extendir.dll should improve most sluggishness you might be experiencing, it has been listed to increase performance up to 12x's in certain scenarios, it does this by essentially having a listing of all windows files and necessary files, so that it can pull quickly from a list as opposed to actually loading each file every time. This is a ruff explanation but covers the general concept I think.
