Here is the dialer skin I use.

I deleted the 3 OEM's from the SYS:
LockScreen
LockScreen_DPI_192
LockScreenEA

Based on this intelligence I obtained when I pm'd drybonz before I started using wm6.5:

As long as you don't use the WM 6.5 screen lock. If you have it locked, the phone tries to bring up the HTC slide to answer and the WM 6.5 slide to answer at the same time, and glitches.

This is the only drawback I can find to using the HTC dialer in 6.5.

Works Fine. Select "Windows Mobile Dialer" OEM and this which I've put in the Phone Canvas category in buildos.

The only issue I've seen (using it all day) is if you include the .cab SetVolumeVGA0_5_0, it will disable the "mute call" bar at the bottom.

edit: I'm currently using this on the g52x kitchen, as I deleted too much stuff when playing with g53 the other day...

i will let you know once i get my contacts synced...

i asked this earlier but my post got buried. i want to make the bluetooth notification go from an alert to a service like wifi, evdo and battery condition. i couldnt make that happen with the .rgu file. is there a .dll that needs to be modded, or something along those lines?

UPDATE - contacts still blurry when fast scrolling, and now the bluetooth icon is gone on the taskbar

Scrolling seems to work well if using the "smart dialer", when you hit a number and it brings up contacts from your address book. Not so well when you first open the dialer and it uses your call history. When you go to flip it up or down, it doesn't scroll, just selects the entry you touched and dials. But when you hit a number, you can scroll up to get to call history. Isn't that why the russians made that fancy contact widget for in mobileshell3? As a work-around. lol...

works for me on my TP with a custom JD kitchen.
