Been using this rom for a week now, I'm loving it so far. But one thing i have been wondering, is there any point in using the ati drivers on this or not?

just make sure your phone is sync up or also you can put the phone into boot loader mode by holding the volume down key and power button at the same time while reseting while still holding keys and you can install the rom and then its pretty much simple after that.

for those graphics, i would recommend the following:

if animating, keep it simple... something short, flashy, and NON looping

avoid retro

smooth your gradients

use anti-aliasing

is any one having problems with the phone ringing in 21231 build, setting the ringer works.. txt messages ssound works but when i get a phone call its silent wont even vibrate.

I can confirm that. My data connection will also turn off when on 1x and usually I have to reboot the phone to turn the data back on.

I installed this kitchen (first time using this kitchen vs JDs)... and my keyboard is not working. Did I miss something about how to get the keyboard working? no keys seem to work, so it isn't that I get the wrong keys, acts like there is no physical keyboard.

no you did nothing wrong in the kitchen but its possible that ur keyboard died...its not DB kitchen fault just TP keyboards kinda go out they fixed it in the upgraded TP phones so revert to sprint rom to see if it still does not work
