I finally flashed to see the new 6.1 Rom. I was not satisfied at all.

I was expecting a continuation of MR 4.16. But instead ran into more bugs than MR5.
*camera/video issues
*seemed slower than 4.16
*hard reset 2 times to get it working

I was fine with MR5. Just wanted to flash. Going back to MR5 though. I will wait patiently for MR5 updates..

I am sort of surprised to not be hearing more from Mike regarding the camera thing. Everything else people are talking about problem-wise (slowlness/whatever) seems sort of scattered and inconsistent. R3Born is very fast for me, just the damn camera thing.

Re: The text input scroll thingy... it happens to me every once in a while. There is an option somewhere (my phone is not in front of my at the moment) to turn that off. I just disable and re-enable it and it works again.

The App Diamond Hologram does not seem to work with this ROM. Not sure what the problem is, but I dont care enough to go back to 4.16.

Mike did acknowledge this bug, he's working on it folks - be patient!

I don't feel like my post expressed impatience, nor did I say he didn't acknowledge it. Just stating that I was personally surprised he hadn't talked any more about it since.

Anyway, maybe you were just generalizing despite quoting me or maybe you misread my post. I never said he should, must, better (etc) post more or fix it faster. He doesn't owe anyone anything, nor do I feel entitled to some sort of fix should he choose not to provide one. Again, was just making an observation (not much chat from him) and then giving a statement that it surprised me.

No, but seriously.... I was waiting for a respond of some sort for the camera issue. Maybe not from Mike himself, anyone... Just a simple confirmation that its a ROM issue and will be solved soon.

With so many different issues for all of us, we don't know what to expect with each new ROM release. So I agree with your comments. But also I don't think you should take anything personally. Like you said, its just an observation!

Just re-read my post and it did come off a bit brusk, my apologies (too many teenage kids in my house at moment!). I was generalizing for everyone as it seems to be the problem du Jour and I wanted everyone to know that Mike is aware of it.

One thing I didn't see mentioned about the person that was wondering about multiple today screens was TFDetacher. I used UltimateLaunch for too long with a Mogul that I'm too adicted to it. Trying to get VGA icons back after the screen change was my biggest issue. I have the left soft key set to go back and forth between my normal Today screen and TF3D.

As to the Camera I have not experienced the issue, but like someone else mentioned it will probably surface but for now mine works even after 36 hours without a soft reset. I'm on a Sprint TP with what MM has at the default for PP 16MB. I've seen with 6.5 Roms you can get the PP too high and it will cause delays and lag so there definitely is a ceiling.

Personally I'm still trying to get used to scrolling using the circular motion around the D-ring and overall just trying to get adjusted to the TP from the Mogul.

Someone mentioned the screen lock programs and one I rarely see mentioned that takes real advantage of the TP is TouchLockPro - has way too many settings some which are best turned off in my opinion, but once adjusted just works. My only issue with S2U2 is there have been too many times where I lose a call because it lags getting from waking up to getting me to the phone. I'm rather slow on the draw so I lose a lot of time getting my phone off my hip and I'm not young anymore so I don't alway's hear it right away.....
