I read an interesting post about conditioning your battery I'm going to try. They say to let the battery die to getting several CRITICAL BATTERY LEVEL warnings, then do a hard-reset. It should then take 7-8 hours to charge completely after which the battery should last much longer. I guess I could have noticed something was maybe funky with my battery when it would only take a few hours to charge completely over USB.

This is the third time that happen to me since i flashed to V2.1 and from what i have noticed it has to do with PIM backup. the first 2 times that happens i restore all my messages and custom items and after about a day the ringer stopped working hence missing multiple calls and sms, the UI would freeze up and when i try to open up a window it would just be stuck on the screen.

Anyway not really a big deal since i was able to hard reset ( Phone off---> hold middle (enter button) vol down, power button, hold all 3 for a few secs till you get the msg to restore to factory) and i was able to get the phone back up and running. Not sure if other people had that happened to them but as a last test i only restored my contacts and nothing else and i will monitor (hopefully) for a few days.

I was me. I think it has something to do with the NueClock. I've left the boxes un-checked and I haven't had any problems since....keeping my fingers crossed though.

I still have random ringer issues but all well.

That is def and interesting fix but its slightly risky IMHO because if i remember correctly if the phone dies during a Hard reset it can brick the phone but correct me if i am wrong with that....
