Well at least you didn't bash the ROM before you determined if it was a problem on your end or not (nice). Anyway I just typed 100 words per/min on my keypad with ZERO lag. Not really, Actually Psyki's ROM has the least amount of lag of any ROM I have used on this site. As soon as I flip open my keyboard I can immediately start typing and every letter appears as i press the key. You might want to reflash or check to see if something is running. BTW we are all very hard core and I kinda take that as a person shot towards myself Psyki and everyone in this thread. Guess were just not up to your texting /emailing ability.

Take it easy... not questioning anyone on their ability to be hardcore....

Guess I should have phrased it differently, more like big business usage wise...

I just know that some of us use the phones for calling people, emailing, and business activities. Where as others use it more for the entertainment/recreational types of uses. Some complain of how MP3s play, but I have never even tried to load/play any MP3s through my phone... So for each type of user, a different bug/problem may be present.

Edit: Never mind, I tried the editor again and somehow it's opening the file now and allowed me to add my city and it works!

OK well i'm glad we got that out of the way... anyway yes I use mine for work, and like I said this ROM has no lag. Have you installed anything? Are you coming directly from a stock ROM? I guess I'm asking did you have a different ROM installed? Did you hard reset after flashing the ROM?

That's great I'm happy for you. I remember when manila 2.1 came out the the program I was using didn't work, I was like crap.

so my phone just locked up the scond time after a phone call. the last release never did that. i think i'm going to do a hard reset and see if that fixes my problem. if it doesn't, i'm going to have to jump ship on this release and go back to the last version.

anyone else having these type problems?

Previous ROM was Silence 6.5... but I went through all the usual motions... flash, hard reset, soft reset. Have not installed anything, not even TouchPal.

Will probably reflash tonight... Before my time on Silence I had Psyki's previous version, and had no problems with this type of keyboard lag.

Whats touchpal? also I wonder if you need to flash back to stock first? I came from a Psyki ROM but when I first switch from EnergyROM I went back to stock first.

I would recommend downloading the ROM again before reflashing, I ran into some very quirky behavior throughout the day. Reflashing was not solving my issues, but after downloading the ROM again my issue vanished. Very odd I admit, but it can't hurt to try.
