i dont know what you guys are doing wrong with ics but i just tested it (running 08-21 rom) and it works perfect, im posting from my laptop as i speak tethered to my phone for testing purposes

kinda slow where im at right now but it works, all i did was power on laptop, wait for desktop, attach usb cable to phone and when the connect to pc notification on my phone popped up and asked activsync, disk drive, or internet sharing i chose internet sharing and that automatically opened ics, all i had to do was click connect, it said check usb connection for a while then my windows7 installed some usb drivers and viola it was connected...now to test wifi tethering

yup this works perfect too, all i did was disconnect my usb cable, went to settings, open comm manager and flipped the switch for Mobile Wi-Fi Router to on and found the PsykiROM network on my pc, entered the key and no problems either!

i dunno what u guys are doing to have problems but it works perfect out of the box for me, u guys may need to update your online profiles with your service provider, also running the new 2.x pri helps

Change the word ROM to ROMS in the link. Should work from there.

Love the ROM even on my gimped VZW phone, but the Internet Sharing coming up with a Verizon page asking me to buy there plan is a deal breaker. I need ICS all the time because of what I do for work. I really hope that gets ironed out soon.

has anyone had problems with the pandora app..
it crashes everytime i start the app..

Why is there a work around for this? As far as I know with Verizon you have to pay to use ICS. Does ICS work with other ROMs and Verizon without paying? It would be good to know the guys at work have Verizon and as far as I know you can't use ICS with our paying for it on Verizon's network. Not a ROM issue its a carrier issue as far as I know.

No real work around, it just works! If you're paying the extra $15 for tethering, cancel it. Every other ROM I've ever used has three options when you plug in the USB cable: ActiveSync, Disk Drive, and Internet Sharing. (stock VZW only has first 2) All you have to do is choose internet sharing and boom..there ya go.... internet without paying the man.

As a rule of thumb most of the existing manila modifications will NOT work with manila 2.1 (and will most likely break it) unless they specifically say they support manila 2.1. Sorry for not making this more clear before.

Thats interesting for me I'm on sprint so its not a problem the guys at work have Crackberrys so I think there out of luck I don't know enough about them to get it to work (or too lazy or maybe its just the I told you so). Now with all that said my TP give me an option for ICS when I plug it in your saying yours doesn't have that option?

Eidt: Looks like you have the option it just isn't working.

since you're online psyki, thought id let u know of a slight bug i got with the new rom and one of the newer packages i beleive.

when i get on screen reminders in landscape, only half the notification draws up, in portrait its fine (when it works)
