Eidt: Looks like you have the option it just isn't working.

Mine works just fine with all other ROMS. I was just simply stating that the stock ROM doesn't have that option and they want you to pay $15 per month to use VZ Access Manager to access the web.

can you guys please explain the ics app to share the internet on the touch pro via wifi i dont have a data plan or internet access will i need any off this to be activated to be able to use internet sharing ??? 15 a month data plan via sprint for unlimited internet acc. sorry kind of new on this subject need some detail plans here please
purpose how to get internet on my laptop via my ppc phone ???details please

ICS is Internet Connection Sharing. Essentially, this is an application that allows you to 'share' the internet from your phone with your computer (or other devices). ICS is the generic way to 'tether' your phone to your computer using usb (or bluetooth). There are other utilities, free and paid, that extend the capabilities of your phone to give you new ways to share various network features. Most of these capabilities leverage your phones internet account, so you will need one. You can still do certain things though without one, such as use your phone in a pinch as a wireless network adapter for a computer that does not have one. If tethering is something that interests you, then I would suggest you add the data plan. It will get quite expensive otherwise in a hurry.

it works right out of the box when i flash, no carrier cab needed. the tp isnt like the old mogul where you had to reprogram, even when you upgrade through the website it'll start working as soon as you hit submit or whatever.

I can't imagine the touch pro without a data plan, then it's just a ... phone? Lol seriously get the data plan.
