i copied the following information form one of Tech's posts. it is discussing how to change the left softkey to SecondToday (after it's installed). you can use these instructions as i "guide". be careful tho and good luck.

1. first install SecondToday, remember where you install it : onto phone or onto internal memory
2. go with Resco Explorer/TotalCMD/Explorer to the location where you installed it
(typically : \programs\SecondToday for installation on phone and \internal storage\programs\SecondToday if you installed it onto internal storage)
3. remember the location where SecondToday.exe is
4. Open registry and go to \HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila
5. double click on HomeLSKPath and type in the EXACT location where SecondToday.exe is located (includung capital letters)
6. press OK when your finished.
7. Now go to HomeLSKText and type there "SecondToday" or some other text that you want to show for your LEFT softkey
8. press OK to save this value
9. Close registry editor
10. soft reset your phone
11. After soft reset, it should show on the LEFT softkey "SecondToday"

there may be an easier, more direct way to do it but i don't know how. this is the method i use.
This worked Thanks it was more like this tho:

How to change Left Soft Key back to Total Commander:

1. Open Total Commander go to \\plugins\registry\HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila

2. Click on HomeLSKPath hold down till menu appears select properties and type in the EXACT location where cecmd.exe is located (\program files\total commander\cecmd.exe)

3. Press OK when your finished.

4. Now go to HomeLSKText click and hold down till menu appears click Properties and type there "Total Commander" or some other text that you want to show for your LEFT softkey

5. Press OK to save this value

6. Close registry editor

7. Soft Reset

Try this next time and see if it works:

Use Advanced Config ->Menu ->More Settings -> Kep Mapping.

It should give you a drop down menu for available programs and the next line is what you want to name the soft key.
Then soft reset.
That's how I changed my 2 soft keys easily...

Thanks for the info, I try to stay away from advanced config it seems to do more harm than good. I'm pretty comfortable in the registry too. I backed up the two keys to Sashimi so I should be good to go no matter what happens now.

Yeah, I read something about it changing some regs particularly the one that allows you to auto disconnect the Data connections- which can be fixed with the resume#777 cab.

I'm just too lazy to reg edits and Sashimi is a life saver -just learned about that one a few weeks ago- highly recommend to everyone that flashes

Re: [ROM] [Aug 31] Psyki 4 - Custom Glass Manila 2.1 (23017.5.3.0)

Great ROM psyki! I've noticed two anomalies:

1) After unlocking, the all contacts list automatically displays. I have to keep closing/ending it each time I unlock. Soft reset does not resolve. Haven't tried a hard reset

2) The % used Program RAM keeps creeping up as the phone is used (I am ending the programs, not just closing the window) Even with no programs running the % used creeped up from 52% after soft reset to 74%, with no open programs

This is my first custom to flash, and it may be hard to try anything else!

A few posts back (surprising) Psyki stated that he found a memory leak and fixed it. He is going to post the fix soon. Your other issue I do not have.

I can't get the alarm to work properly. It starts to play the selected alarm sound but quits after about .1 second. The alarm notification is also half-way off the screen at the bottom.

So I read all the way back to the original 6.5's 1st release to see if these minor probs I'm having were mentioned, which they weren't...lol

1. While in Landscape after changing from default wallpaper there is a tiny line on the very right of the screen from the original red wallpaper. I've reflashed, changed to default wallpapers that were preloaded on the rom to no avail. IDK if its just me since it hasnt been mentioned or if its the new TF3d....

I just changed my background and am having the same issue. anything?

I saw it and thought BIG DEAL, and maybe it can be fixed but even so.. Its not like the phone is worthless because of it. I got out a magnifying glass and took a real close look at it.

I understand your just pointing it out but you make it sound so urgent. I guess your not concerned about the memory leak as long as you landscape mode looks perfect.

Are you using the stock alarm settings or g-alarm?
