Total: 308.35
In Use: 36.96
Free: 271.39

And my Program space is only:

Total: 191.84
In Use: 109.92
Free: 81.92

Shouldn't my total storage be more around 349 mb and my Total Program space be more like 239 mb?

Thanks,
Which version of PsykiROM are you using? v3 has a 24mb pagepool, others might only have 16mb. If you look at Device Information, when totaling up storage space the system takes into account how large the operating system is in ROM plus files it copies around the device during the initial customization (a lot). With program memory it also allocates a portion of space to load the operating system as well as any dlls and programs I may have added to the system. The touchflo/manila interface takes up a lot of program memory just to load, and has been discussed in this thread several times several things I have added to this ROM that a lot of chefs do not use are *designed* to earmark and manage program memory for use by certain elements. If I take them out you would see more program memory free but also have a slower ROM.

Honestly it's still a tad confusing to me when you throw in pagepools. See posts http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=43382 and http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=43110 for interesting tidbits on setting (or not setting) pagepools. On a side-note those posts confirmed my suspicion that a pagepool is ONLY useful the longer you use a ROM. IE, if you soft-reset often it's almost guaranteed you'll never see any of the benefits. Whew.

Re: [ROM] [May 12] <!--PsykiROM v3--!> Fast Rhodium Manila [21046 WM6.1] [UC]

First time Psyki flasher this past weekend coming from Mighty 4.16 and more recently MR5...I couldn't get used to WM 6.5 quite yet...still too many bugs to be worked out...I am loving this V3 rom in this thread...great tools for a novice flasher...Psyki really thought this out in terms of the customizations he included...no more having to go through a million tweaks and cabs to do the things you have to do in some more barebone roms...it's possible I missed it, but is audiopara included with this ROM? My call volume on Sprint Touch Pro was really low till I installed it manually...other than that, I think I found a home with Psyki for a while... THX!

So far Psyki's has been the quickest for me........and I've tried just about all of the custom roms for the TP. I hope Psyki makes one for 6.5 now that it's been released to manufacturers.

It's RTM but as far as I know it's not out in the wild yet, you won't see any 6.5 from me until it's out

I know this is bad news for some but this is really good news for me

Psyki, I do notice something very small with the rom. It's probably my settings (though I have not changed any settings). A lot of times when I switch from normal view to landscape, the screen does not change. This only happens when text messaging though. What do you think?

This is due to your g sensor with auto rotaion enabled.

Under your touch flo scroll over to settings>scroll to g sensor>turn off auto rotate.

That should do the trick buddy.

Re: [ROM] [May 12] <!--PsykiROM v3--!> Fast Rhodium Manila [21046 WM6.1] [UC]

Hey Psyki, I have a couple of things...

I have I have the dim screen problem i know there is a fix for this can you pint me to it? I have the problem when i go to the call history and hit the right menu soft key.

I cant seem to get the push pages to work how do I program those?

I also have the problem when I receive pic mail the message ends up at the very bottom when I receive pic mail.

By the way the battery life is still great on my phone after about a 6 or 7 hour work shift i barely lose maybe 10% of battery life after all that time of no use.

Re: [ROM] [May 12] <!--PsykiROM v3--!> Fast Rhodium Manila [21046 WM6.1] [UC]

Also I wanted to know if theres a way to select all of my contacts at once and sort them by first then last name? I tried highlighting all contacts and changing to first then last but the option isnt available. Any ideas?

I forgot to mention another problem it was also on psyki v2.1 and V3 but I cant get my function keys to work on my keyboard properly. I have to hold down the function button with the function i want to do. The function light turns on but doesnt do the function unless im holding it down. Any other have this problem?

And one more lol sorry...

When I have a number text me that is new and is not saved in my contacts. I tap on the new phone number from within the text message next screen opens and I tap save to contacts, after that there is not an option to save the phone number to an existing contact. Anyway to fix this as well?

i'm actually glad to hear that, i'd rather you keep fine tweaking 6.1 and keep us waiting for a lesser bug version rtm 6.5, i'm sure your figuring out 6.5 on the side and once you do get ahold of 6.5 you'll make us all happy.

i know i've complained in the past about low free ram but after reading what you wrote, i'd rather have a fast rom than more ram to slow everything down by opening up too many apps, to date this is still the only rom i have ever used (on touch pro) that has no keyboard lag when typing!

and to the above poster, i do not have a function key problem on my keyboard, did you hard-reset after flashing? i did just in case and would recommend doing so if its that big a problem for you

The screen dim issue should be fixed, did you install any additional manila mod such as a clock, background for all tabs or something else? ANYthing might be the culprit, even something you think is unrelated. Let me know if you come up with anything. At any rate, install this cab, soft-reset and you should be good to go.
