That's very strange, all my radio connectivity is pretty fast. I suggest flashing a different radio to see if you get better connection speeds, there are a number of different radios so some work better for others, but if you find a good one then typically all data speeds will be faster, evdo, gps etc. I've been using the telus radio which gets better battery life and much faster data speeds than the stock sprint radio, for me at least.

I use pocketshield myself and haven't had any issues with it, did you have pocketshield use the windows dialer? I usually select "do not protect calls".

i think this is a common bug for everyone using this rom. try texting power 106 a keyword 200 times and then having 199 unread txt messages later. since im using threaded texts i just have to delete the whole thread. but when chatting via txt, even though u do "see" ur replies the rom doesnt think u read everything. my fastest way to clear all the unread txts is to go into the txt thread and press the up arrow multiple times so it selects each txt and will then mark them as read automatically

question to psyki. ... whats the best way to change the time my data connection turns off from 30sec or 1 min (whatever it is) to 2min? i prefer to have my backlight dim at 1 min of idle and then screen off at 2 min of no activity. better yet would it be possible to change the auto-data off to a set period of time after idle? as i type this right now on my phone im pretty sure my data shut off and will have to reconnect just to post. i think it might be a bit faster if it stayed connected while i was working on things rather than connecting and disconnecting multiple times per session

oh, and to the couple people having those weird hard reset problems... i have to think u have a mested up device or corrupt download. i would first check inside the battery compartment and check the water damage indicators. having a wet pcb can make ur phone act real funny and feel like its possesed. or else redownload rom. flash 100%. hard reset 100% and dont install any other cabs for at least a day and see if ur resetting problems went away

That may be a limitation of the messaging app in windows mobile, try just launching the messaging app and not doing it through manila though just as a test. On a side note, 6 email accounts, really? Can't you consolidate at least one of them?

For me it connects to EVDO almost instantly, there's literally no noticeable delay. It helps the battery tremendously, too.

At any rate, go here HKLM\Comm\ConnMgr\Planner\Settings and change "CacheTime" to set the data timeout in seconds. I have it set to 60.

Not really. I run 2 businesses, so need sales..support..helpdesk(yes I know redundant) personal(business) for each domain name. I have to login to webmail to get my personal personal emails.My customers do not like sending an email to "hessien"@xxx.com and getting a reply from "snarky"@yyy.com. That is why I use 7way email checker on my PC...lets me have all my email accounts on 1 page.

Any way to change the manilla fonts from white to black? I have a very light picture for my background and some of my appointments are very hard to read. I don't want to just start installing cabs that might "break" the rom.
