Re: ringtone corruption, am i missing something?
Yeah, and all is fine after I soft reset too, but it eventually "corrupts" again. Could be hours later, could be a day.

Re: ringtone corruption, am i missing something?
Thankfully for the first time it hasn't been a constant problem for me since upgrading to the latest MightyROM. I had it with every 21501 build before that. From what I'm hearing it's a matter of time for me, but thankfully not yet. Kind of a pain in the ***, but hopefully it's fully resolved soon.

Re: ringtone corruption, am i missing something?
I have had this issue off and on for quite awhile. Conflipper has it fixed in his latest ROM. For me it always seems like the issue occurs after using a bluetooth headset.... Anyone else use BT headsets?

We can read. We can KEEP reading that. It still doesn't change the fact that the ringtone corruption error STILL pops up for SOME of us. Maybe you didn't read my post detailing the circumstances of my last ROM flash... In more productive news, I am using a BT headset, but I can't say I've noticed it happening RIGHT after using one. I do have occasional issues with BT headset and stock S2A, but that's for another thread. Some in the MR5 thread are saying that converting all ringtones and alerts to WAV is helping with the issue. Seems like a lot of space to take up to have working alerts. Has anyone tried that? |

Re: ringtone corruption, am i missing something?
yeah, i'm not retarded enough to have the inability to read. i obviously know that he *said* its fixed, and i obviously know that my phone still doesn't ring a lot of the time, leading me to the conclusion that it *isn't* fixed. so i was just wondering if there is *another* fix somewhere else that actually does fix the problem.
