Re: Copper issues solved

i had issues with opera not wanting to launch without error and also alot of browser saying it was launched but would not appear. Ending in a soft reset. Amazing effort, and with a little more time this rom will be killer!!! I ended up going back to juicy 6 with WM6.1

Re: Copper issues solved

yeah, i'm on sprint, have the telus radio. pre copper, gps works fine. post copper, garmin barely locks, tomtom just doesn't, and google maps will in like a half hour. this isn't anything i've installed, because i've reflashed with nothing but these apps one at a time, and they all result in poor gps performance.

Re: Copper issues solved

I'm using Copper on Telus and with a Telus radio... Copper locks faster than my WM6.1 install previous. Unfortunately for me I modified the Copper interface extensively but now I am going to reflash with G52x... argh such is the life...

Re: Copper issues solved

I regained my GPS via sprint Radio up date to 1.11
I locked with 7-9 sats driving around. i am using Google
Maps for tracking.

But I agree with everyone else that my GPS locked faster
with earlier ROMs. I have defaulted to IE6 and havent looked
back to Opera.

Re: Copper issues solved

Back to the drawing board. Looks like the GPS radio change did not work. Still slow to lock if it locks at all. Im really thinking of trying another ROM- Is this a 6.5 ROM bug?

Other than those 2 issue, I am totally
