Ok so i just found another issue, when i get a txt msg it just vibrates doesn't ring or play the sound i have selected for it. I tired to do a soft resest a few times doesn't work anyone else having this issue?

Hmm so where exactly at in the setting? the way i do it is go into tools there it has theme backlight wireless manager register and all that. And when i go to theme and try to select the indigo it changes for a sec then go right back to black. It work for me before on the last roms well all of them but this one

I found the fix I was looking for on the SPBclub forum website, on what to do if your TF3D screen is Black and Blank when using the today screen in Spb mobile shell.

You have to use the exit spb mobile shell option to be able to run TF3D again. This only needs to been done after a softreset. If not you will get the "black blank screen"

I will search for the touch flow detacher to see what it is.

Hmmm, my pop3 e-mail account is set up for 5 min send/receive. After it auto checks for mail, the bottom of the screen says "disconnecting" however, I still see the data transfer icon in taskmanager. Weather and stock auto checks are off. tv and nav are off--is there something that's grabbing data from the ROM (v3.16)

It's already up!

Take the following kitchen from post #2:
"JD's Revenge" G53.0 ROM and Easy Ask Kitchen

Step 1: Download JD's kitchen
Step 2: Make a copy of your Calcu's kitchen
Step 3: Delete the ..\ROM, ..\SYS, and ..\OEM directories from calcu's.
Step 4: Copy the above three directories from JD's kitchen into your calcu's kitchen

Step 5: Resume where you left off.

Nothing wrong with JD's kitchen tools, I'm just more familiar with calu's. THen you can copy over most of the OEM's from my diamond kitchen if you want. The zzz_my_startmenu OEM, wouldn't copy that one though....

Thanks for the reply, Weather Panel is off. When click the data transfer icon on taskbar and it brings me to comm manager, "microsoft direct push" is lighter in color and is "on"--but if i wait a second or two, microsoft direct push turns "off" by itself. Then I turn data off manually---but it turns itself back on a few min later???? Not a huge issue since i have unlimited everything--but i have noticed battery life is a bit less than 3.09--thinking this is the cause.

rstoyguy - There are a few others that have mentioned this but I guess I'll humbly say it again.... in build 3.11 (win mo 6.1) there is the issue with the battery indicator being off between the pro mode and lifestyle mode. You mentioned that the battery fix .cab will take care of this.

The other issue that people have brought up is the messaging visual indicators don't function properly at times in build 3.11 (win mo 6.1). Build 3.06 (win mo 6.1) and the latest build 3.16 (win mo 6.5) doesn't seem to have this issue. Could you please enlighten us as to what is going on so that we can either fix it manually or maybe you could issue a .cab for us?

Also just to provide some feedback, build 3.16 operates great except for the mobile shell that hangs up once in a while I try to rotate it. But I guess you're aware of it already! :mrgreen:

i just upated my rom to the rstg_Raph_vG53.MS31.16

and its great.. its only been a day but the issues i had with the earlier 6.5 rom was fixed... thanks for all your effort...

This is a cab that's supposed to fix the carosel issue. I've been using it for a few days and it seems to work alright. I don't realy use the carosel feature too much but it works good. The cab's also supposed to speed up internet???? Again, seems alright for me---seeing that I'm getting the internet on my phone!!!

RSTG--I can't seem to find the haptic response program on the 3.16 build. what am I missing??

Thanks for ending my ROM flashing carousel. I've flashed plenty of ROMS and tried most of the major ones. While no custom ROM is perfect (despite what people may say) this one seems to suit me the best. Thanks!

anyone having an issue with email notifications, I have email set to chime, and also have it set up in voice command to notifiy via bluetooth, and am not getting either. Email downloads fine from exchange, everything else is working great.

Been running this for a week now and I must say: YOU ROCK! So far my favorite ROM. Very fast and lots of memory. I would suggest one upgrade. Opera v. 16277 as this is the best Opera yet. It has run everything I've thrown at it.

I can't understand how Mobile Shell is sooo much faster than Manila. HTC get a hint.

running 3.16 since it's release and all's been great. However, woke up today and for some reason the physical keyboard will not type??? Haven't had this problem in the past and haven't loaded any new programs (and nope, didn't drop the TP either) tried soft reset and changing setting in imput but still can't use the keyboard...any help??

What is your soft keyboard set to? I have had no problems, but usually flash a new version every morning. Some good, some bad roms. :)

My keyboard is acting up also, I havent lost my keyboard totally. But every now and then I lose my keyboard, I have to do a soft reset and its fine again for a little bit. I have been using this SPB rom for the last week, just tried Calkulins Touch Pro 21232 Kitchen, still have the same problem. May have to take my phone in and exchange for a new phone at the store.

Soft keyboard is set to full QWERTY, no T9, enable auto correct--basicaly all the stuff you suggested for your last build to correct keyboard lag.

Any hints on the new "cleaned up" version of your ROM. Need my keyboard-I do too much work on it and the virtual ones slow me down. I'd rather wait for your newest version to come out to test if it's just a software issue instead of flashing a bunch. Plus the above mentioned issue with the "boss"

Doing a bit o' searching and found the usual suspect is a hardware problem with the keyboard. Calling Sprint in the morning to see about a repalcement. If that proves to be too much of a problem, I'll do a bit of surgery on the keyboard to fix the connections. I'll keep ya'll updated.

Still looking forward to the new MS3 version you got cooking though.

Edit-reflashing 3.16 just to check for software issues since I've been running 3.16 fine and just started having problems today

This works great for my Sprint, but my buddies Verizon will load the rom and when it goes to reboot, it just sits in the "Phone is loading" screen. Tried it 3 times. Any thoughts?

Alright, loaded stock Sprint just now-still have the hardware keyboard problem. Going to Sprint now to get a replacement, if I have to keep this one, I'll keep ya'll updated on the keyboard surgery.

Went to the Sprint store in Tukwilla (Seattle) and 30 min later walked out with my phone with a new keyboard. Sounds like the keyboard is a very well known issue with the TP.

rstoyguy, just flashed you 6.5 mobile shell rom and it too kicks ***!! I have found one problem so far. When you click on the taskbar in the top right, (and other areas also) it doesnt show the test, it shows squares.

No you must misunderstood. If Im running say for ex the calculator, and I go to the home page and click the taskbar to get back to the calculator, it doesnt say calculator, its squares. The same with the 6.1 ROM too. i just flashed that one.
