been using the 09 for few days now and after all was fixed and done(see previous few pages) it now runs smooth and not a single problem. Shell does not lag when switching to landscape now, instead of devicelock(exe of which is missing by the way RSTG from windows folder) i am using s2u2(password option) and it works beautifully with Shell3 with no special steps were nessesary after install.

Anyone else having troubles with bluetooth? I can't get it to connect with my Garmin 580. It is usually flawless.

First- I'd just like to say that I am thoroughly impressed with the tutorials in your sig. It's very obvious that a lot of time and hard work went into those. I don't know why I never noticed them before. Maybe because I had never really been interested in building my own rom until now; however, after seeing the thoroughness of your posts, I think I've become disinterested again in building my own. I think if you're that thorough in your posts, I can only imagine the work that goes into your rom. I'll be flashing yours later today.


Second- you said to vote.Although I'm not yet a user of your rom, so I guess my opinion carries a little less weight, but I'd like to offer up my votes.

Yes to weatherpanel.
No to spb phone suite. It just seems a little redundant with spb ms 3.

Third- keep up the great work. I look forward to your 21502 build.

I just flashed, and I didn't realize weatherpanel was already included. (I see it now in the changelog in .04).
I think you were asking about themes for it? If so PhatPhinger IV VGA (Diamond/Allrockabilly edition) is the best imo. Really good screenshot of it in post #3 of that thread.

Also, the active sync voiced connection caught me off guard. Nice touch.

Yes, I like it too.... But weatherpanel themes have been deemed a pain in the arss to OEM. :)

Ah yes, the tutorials... They were fun. :) And weather panel wins for now. I looked at the other, and it's an entire sub-community in it's self. It can wait.

WOW, new version looks great--SMS is quick, landscape rotation is pretty quick. Whatever tweeks you did are spot on...the only reason I continue to flash, is you keep putting out fantastic ROM's. I thought 09 was perfect--now you drop this kick @$$ bomb on us. Great Job!!!! Everyone I show this to is completely blown away!!

One question--on the lock screen v3.04 had a "cleaner" looking number pad. Is this just a setting I'm missing?? (classic view)

That was removed for S2A phone dialer compatibility. And the menu's that everyone's talking about are evident in total commander, poutlook, I like em. Keep on the look out for stray colors....

just tried its on my sprint touch pro...
a few bugs..

first i can't shrink the font size in my messages using my D pad.
Typing using the slide out keyboard is really slow..
trying to open up a message on the today page slows down after the first use.

I m going to the try the other versions..

in all its real nice...

no one would believe the true number of roms i have flashed to, i have had the touch pro since it was released. this is the best rom i have ever experienced, i only flashed a couple hours ago but so far i am hooked. ill update after a few days of trial. you made one hell if a rom, kudos!

Battery meter is out as you all have requested, if you turn off xt9 and all the suggest word stuff it's speedy enough for me.

Yes, I did. It's qvga so it was sorta small. And the pig took like 2 steps, then was motionless while windows was doing it's setup. But nice animation overall. :)

I rememember you mentioned you can back up the way icons on Shell3 are positioned and then restore them after flashing a new build. Have you tried it yourself? I have no problem reinstalling the apps but the icon placemement took me quite a few hors to get right - dont think i want to falsh and do it all over again.

This week I'll be doing several updates. Mostly cosmetic, this evening I'm gonna clean up the 3 pages of start menu, and today I'll be testing how well the built in lock plays with s2a. I figure by wednesday I'll have it where I want, then tweak on the Rhodium rom some... Care to share your setup? Export the registry key [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Spb Software House 2]... You could export it, convert it to xml, then use advanced config to import it again.

Just flashed to the latest ROM... looks great! However, when i hit the volume up or down button, it toggles thru the different widgets on the screen rather than adjust the volume... is there a way to change this and make it behave like normal?

hello,
last night i flashed to the latest wm6.5 spb shell rom and it started great.
my phone locked over night and now im finding that i cannot change the sound profile. also the two hardware buttons on the side usually dedicated to volume are now used to scrol, is it possibe to revert their usage back to volume?

2 Questions for you RSTG:
1) like i mentioned before i am still running 09 and its missing the menu that you get when you connect to PC(the one that lets you choose options such as connect as activesync or just drive). Is there a cab that i can install to get it?

2) I also have Diamond - which of your ROMS would you reccomend for it? I am bit lost in the amount of roms you have and wondering if you have a semi(or fully)stable(like this one) rom for Diamond with 6.5 and Rhodium(preferably with fixed world clock issue)?

been using 09 for about 3 days already - no problems with that at all, make sure you turn on hardware acceleration(its off by default) in shell
And by the way hardware volume buttons work like they suppose to in 09, adjusting volume, so something must have changed from 09 to cause this(i didnt install any after so cant speak from experience)

I flashed from the 6.1 Rom to the 6.5 Rom. It is fantastic but the battery meter is topped out at 20 then works it's way down from there. Any ideas?

Is there a new link to the 6.1 ROM? I tried the newest 6.5 and really liked it, but a couple of other programs that I tried to add did not seem to like it. I would like to try the 6.1 rom, but the megaupload link is now dead.

you are right now i cannot find it either, its exact name was "Use 3D acceleration" and it was under mobile-system(next to ovveride start" but now its not there. Weird.

Another weird thing i noticed - no matter what sound i assign to alarm clock(regular widnows alarm not galarm) it playes the same (other) sound. Also how do i choose the melodies for new incoming message or new incoming email? Only lets me choose for incoming calls - not sure how i didnt notice it before(probably cause i like the defaults setting:))

I can't find acceleration either, but found the fix for for the spinny thing. :)

I'll look into the sounds for galarm, it hasn't woke me up on 6.5 either lately, but I think it's because I haven't included my alarms in the builds...

edit: galarm v2.0 is out, but no longer free, so we are stuck with this version...

I had that problem in PsykiROM v1, the battery meter is off by 1/5. So 20=100%, 10=50% etc. Install this CAB and you should be good to go :)

for me this was a problem with the value hklm\security\resover\bitmaps\batteryiconlevels=15 instead of 65 with custom icons. It was set by another oem, my oem wouldn't overwrite the value and provxml set it too late, thus requiring the restart. That took me a few days to find... but fixed finally.
