S2U2 v2.4 works great with this ROM.

Almost every other ROM I've used I have to tap the text box to get the cursor there--I don't think its RSTG's ROM.
Hope the cab helps

Click the bottom right square, then select "Show Today"... That will show the regular today screen.

hi ya,
i'm using the 6.1 rom from the 1st page and its great...

I 'm switching between the 6.5 and 6.1 and i'd have to say that 6.1 still better
but its missing the wifi router program from 6.5 , i've found the xda wifi router cab, but i can't get it work correctly

So any help on getting its to work.....?

found a work around that seems to do the trick
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...28&postcount=1

i downloaded the
AL_CommManager_Suite_with_WifiSharing_1_1.CAB (NEW!)

that seems to work fine... it does the drain the battery very fast

This a nice program with help locking device and preventing unwanted calls... My problem is how does one stop this thing from turning on in 12 seconds... I've tried everything in the setting and nothing works... It's driving my nuts.. Thanks once again..

I haven't had any keyboard problems. I guess you could make sure that the cursor is in the text box before typing.

Tried that, I narrowed down the keyboard based off the fact that the little pop up keyboard works flawlessly, but thats why I went with the TP over the Diamond. I wanted a keyboard. Anyone else have this problem in this rom or other roms? I mean, Id hate to think it was the phone b/c its new. :( on a few days old.

Ok guys, instead of doing a reflash, I just backed up my data and done a reset from the utilities and so far things are working. Typing is a little laggy, but I can deal with that.

A good rule of thumb is after every "flash" follow it with another "flash" or a hard reset. This will usually overwrite any existing data from previous flashes and keeps corruption to a minimum. ;)

S2U2 is mapped to the power button, so instead of long "end" (locks screen) then power button to turn off the screen, just set up S2U2, "power off" button locks and shuts the power down.

As far as custom ROM's go, this one's pretty light on the battery---battery drain is a function of radio, usage, and wm 6.5. Try using "luminos" to configure backlight, and make sure data connection is shut off when not in use (don't forget the weather panel and stocks)

Go to "today" (lower right hand box), around the center of the new page you will see a blue and yellow sun on the left, tap- deleat any cities not needed, add cities you want, then go through download settings-I usually unclick everything because I don't use this page at all.

RSTG already has the weather fix on MS3 (I believe default is manual updates)

For stocks, go to ticker tape/menu/settings/download settings/download all lists=n

ticker tape/menu/download rate = change to "never"

then load luminos and go through all the calibration settings, another good one is in phone call tweak--turns the screen off when you're talking and phone is next to your mellon, and when you bring the phone down to use the keyboard/keypad-the screen turns on.

Hope these help---remember, you've got a pocket computer, not just a phone. Battery drain is what happens when you use your phone.
As far as radios, I'm on Sprint so I can't tell you what's going to happen with your current service; however, if you've pulled the radios from the CDMA side, they are interchangeable. I was running Telus for a while, then moved to another non Sprint radio and have now settled on Sprint 1.12.34f. In Seattle I get great reception, great GPS locks, good battery and low heat. Try a few radios and see what works best for you----remember, if you are CDMA *****ONLY***** use CDMA radios.

If I've mis-stated, someone please let me know!

Hope this helps.

EDIT: Radios are page one of CDMA forum

To get Pandora working on your Touch Pro:
1. Download the Pandora.cab
2. If you don’t already have it, download Advanced Config Tool 3.3
3. Install both applications and open Advanced Config Tool (ACT)
4. While in the ACT, navigate to Network>TCP Window and change the value to 98304
5. Save your changes, and soft-reset.
6. Download VGA-Pandora.zip (pandora.exe)
7. Replace the orginal .exe (in \Program Files\Pandora\Pandora.exe) with the pandora.exe from within VGA-Pandora.zip on the original post

you will need Microsoft .NET Compact Framework 3.5 to install avanced config tool. available here:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

...and I'll include AdvancedConfig in the next release...

Pandora is still broken? any help

Thanks for the WM6.1 "rstg_Raph_v3.MS31.28" release. Your package had all of the apps I was looking for. And all is stable w/my phone 4 the last 2 days.

I tried the WM6.5 "rstg_v23017_MS31_28" release, and just like all the other WM6.5 roms I used so far, my memory resources continually climb until they're maxed out after 10min continuous use (simple talking or texting).

Since these roms are free, and all of you "RSTG, Demolition, Mighty Rom, Silence & Psyki4" have done excellent work so far, I'll just sit and wait and hopefully someone'll fix the maxed resources issue for the Verizon HTC Touch Pro (XV6850) device.

If there's a "simple" specific tweak I could adjust via Diamond Tweak v0.5.3 or Advance Configuration Tool v3.3.0.0 for the WM6.5 roms please respond. Here's my Memory Resources Usage thus far from a soft reset...

Package..........WM 6.1..........WM 6.5
Total................113mb...........113mb
In Use................75mb.............98mb
Free...................38mb.............15mb

In the meantime, keep up the good work...

That is about the amount of free RAM I would have in my Diamond Rom releases, 25-18MB free.

Perhaps you want to grab one of them "clean" roms and add to it what you want. My mission statement for my roms are to be "A fully functional stable rom that you can actually use." I don't know how I got off on the wm6.5 bit but they turned out pretty good...

are you thinking of updating to 23037+ build anytime soon? 23017/16 has the issue with s2a ans wmwifirouter where the hardware keyboard sotps functioning after few hours and needs to be rebooted. Does not seem to have that issue with 23028+, according to a friend, staying away from 23020- builds for now

I was looking into it. I think I'm waiting on all these announcements before I rebuilt. Looks like the future is the visual kitchen, not sure what the advantage is except that it will allow folks to just drop different SYS versions in and build a rom and overwrite duplicates. I'm thinking the duplicates thing will be disastrous for some, I think I'm gonna embrace it and write a thorough tutorial on it for the masses...who knows. But I have no issues with 23017, (don't use wmwifirouther though), I hear there are some GUI enhancements to 23028+, but I'm still not one to abandon a perfectly good SYS and try a higher number for "faster/cooler/higher" number just because I want a new problem. I just don't have as much time lately...If someone has a newer sys to drop into calcu's kitchen I'd try it through. :)

Thanks! And to enlarge your fonts goto:

StartMenu-Settings-System-Screen and adjust it at the TextSize tab. This will work through the quickmenu or wm6.5 menu paths...

well it went from bad to real bad, like i said with 23017 hardware keyboard starts acting funky when used with s2a and wmwifirouter(although some say even wmwifirouter is not needed) it starts of as not working after about 2 hours, now it stop in the middle of sentence i completely shuts down(have to finish with onscreen). After reboot it works fine for a few. I flashed to 23037(tf3d) rom and aftr 2(very painfull days because of touchflocrap) use keyboard worked fine. Reflashed to 23017(your and in 1 hour its back again). Guess back to 23037 untill you update yours. Hate to use touch flo:)

i get that once in while as well, faster fix is to turn the screen off(power button on top) and then back on - usually works after without need to reset

First, love the rom, works great. I just have a question, wondering if anyone knows what the difference is between Calkulin's Battery Saver settings and the Normal settings. I know that the battery saver settings does that, saves the battery, but I'm wondering how? Does it affect performance, turn off settings? Anyone know?

Re: .-. RSTG Roms - Spb MobileShell Raph v3.28 (WM6.1) & v23017.28(WM6.5) .-. 8/24/

Great ROM. This is my 3rd version of a RSTG Spb 3 ROM (I love Spb 3)since May or June I believe. So many little things I like about. The ROM runs fast. Nice looking task bar w/fancy icons. I like the fact that I can either choose the drop down start menu (quick menu) by pressing the HTC logo or get the 4 icon layout by pressing Start. The menus that give the options of "new, reply, go to" etc have the perfect size text for me. I dont like big fonts that requires having to scroll down to find what I want. I think the battery meter above the start bar is awesome. i forget its there sometimes but i like it. It has a good amount of apps. Im glad u added the Facebook & hTourch app. Thank you for putting the big volume controls back. I think that's was the 1 thing i really hated about the last version.
I have had the problem w/sp3 not going to the texts or email in the previous version, but not yet here. I've only just flashed this just under 24 hours. In the previous version I had a big problem with the incoming call ringer changing to a bell or not ringing at all. sometimes no sound from anything. I'll report if I have this problem again. Could I suggest getting a nicer looking phone widget. I think 2 versions ago u had a nice one and now its this boring blue one lol.
Great Job man! I've tried others and there's just things about them i don't like visually and how the feel.
