I love the 6.5 rom you created and I can't wait for all the kinks to get worked out to see what you do with it then. As for the 6.1 release, does anyone have any screen shots? Thanks.

Same as pics in first post for the widgets, however by default the background is the attached. Green grass with a blue sky. Also included are 29 other background themes for your customizing pleasure. :)

The line between the grass and the sky is in line with the top of the left and right "menu soft keys"...so mostly blue.

I love the response time. Thanks for the reply, I didn't know if 6.1 and the 6.5 looked different with the shell. I love this rom.

Sure is quiet in here, lol. I have visited other forums lately since this one has been so quiet and I learned some things. I searched for other MS3 roms to try but just wasn't impressed with all the chatter and issues of there roms. This gave me more appreciation for the work of RSTG in his building these roms. The quietness of this forum seems to be a testomny of the good work of this chef, so thanks for your hard work. I do not know the number of downloads of your work but I will be running your roms as long as you build them. The latest release is working great on my TP.
Just had to post something today to break the silence.

Is it me or are the new ROM 6.1 menus and contacts smaller? Any way to make them bigger (more finger friendly)?

Running MS31.22 with GFX Boost and have zero lag on any of my programs. Anyone NOT running GFX have lag problems??? Installed GFX right after flashing and didn't run the new ROM naked to test--just curious.

Another GREAT ROM. I can't find one problem.
Great programs cooked in and you did an awsome job customizing it (that's you RSTOYGUY) Thanks for one hell of a ROM.

I used the rom several days prior to using the GFX boost file. I had major lag only when I used the 3d setup where it spins all of the widget around. Over all system I had no lag. This is great rom.

Only thing I like to see is the increase size of the quickmenu fonts to be more finger friendly.

startmenu-quickmenu-option click the view tab, then increase the "menu item edge" to a larger number to make it more finger friendly. I usually use the back end of my Cross Pen, so I don't have that pre-set. :)

Thanks, I saw that there but I did not know what it was talking about.

Is there a fix for the message notification for emails and text messages. It notifies you that you have a new text message or email, but it will not open it. Unlike voice mail notification it does start the voice mail. Thank..=D>

Which version are you running? The current wm6.1 doesn't have that issue. Unfortunately I didn't run the 6.5 version very long...

Yeah I'm running the 6.5... Since we are talking about strange things. Everytime I boot up it starts with the other today screen prior to spb shell. In the top left of the screen it next to the htc icon it has the word messaging. Then on the left it has the word "delete' and on the right "menu". When you press the menu icon it open the options for emails. new, reply/forward, move etc.. Besides that I'm really loving this Rom.

Strange things...why I'm not playing with 6.5 anymore. But mobile shell is actually a program that get's started when windows boots in the ..\startup folder. So the regular today screen appearing first is normal. The other is windows starting up messaging. I never got to the root of this issue but suppose it was an issue with wm6.5, or maybee I had too much going on in the \windows\startup folder for it to handle. That was the determining factor in me going back to 6.1. I had to close it on every boot. Myself, I just like stuff to work like it should and have little tolerance for stuff that doesn't work...

In 6.1 is it possible to have the start menu setup like in 6.5 with the large Icons like shown in post #413

jmaxman I'm using the Spb MobileShell Raph vG53.MS31.16 WM6.5 Build: 21501.5.0.70 and mine starts up in the SBP 3.0 shell. I have the following selected in today > items
Pocket Digital Clock
Windows Live Search
Smart
SBP weather
G-Alarm
Weather Panel
SBP Panel

If that does not work then I guess you can try unchecking the pocket digital clock. The setting above takes me to the SBP 3.0 mobile screen other then the annoying screen I describe below. I have no other issues with this 6.5 has been gr8.

The only thing that I have happen is when I first start my phone when it's been powered off it goes to the SBP 3.0 shell then after a few minutes the window for settings > connections > My ISP > to the window of Logon to Server. There you have the selections of

Resource: Phone as Modem
User Name:
Password:
Domain:

I just choose okay and then it goes away and then the SBP 3.0 panel returns. I have asked myself what 6.5 has that 6.1 and it I guess because it's the new one out I have been using it and have grown to like it. I also like 6.1 it's just a personal choice. Have to try 6.5 for awhile to see if you like it and play with the settings to customize it to your liking.

Gr8 work rstoyguy

RSTG - do you use the 'blacklist' option in the Phone Suite software? It is supposed to block unwanted calls, but I've never been able to get it to work. It may be something in the Spb software that does not allow it to work, but I was wondering if you had tried it. I'm using MS31.22.

Thanks for the great ROM.....LOVE IT!

i know you said you'l hold off with 6.5 untill the stable version is available, well from my understanding all version starting from 21725(21728, 21731 and 21806) are RTM and final versions of WM 6.5. Any chance you'l use any of those for new 6.5 build? I am still on your 21502(heavy daily use for my office) WM6.5 and love it(version 16), cant see myself downgrading back to 6.1 at this point

Well, I may have to reconsider then... I downloaded calcu's kitchen this morning to check it out this evening, we'll see how it works out over the next couple of days. And for my rom fans, the red-head ending up having a boyfriend, so I've got time again for the kitchen.... :)

I was just wondering if anyone else is having a problem where the data won't connect. I am having an issue where I have my activesync check for new e-mail every 10 mins, and sometimes once a day or every few days it will time out and say that it's trying to dial #777 and can't connect. The only thing that fixes it is resetting the phone. Any ideas?

After a soft reset, #777 shows up on the first data connection, but no problems actually connecting. I had my e-mails set for 5 min a few weeks ago, but have changed it to 2 hours and just do manual checks in between if I'm expecting mail. Sorry, this probably isn't any help at all.

Always excited to hear of new ROM's coming from you. I was running your latest 6.5 with no problems at all, but since your newest is 6.1, I flashed to that--and again, no problems at all.
I really appreciate all the apps you cook into your ROMs--very functional, very fast, no bugs. Phone runs great for business--yet let me enjoy my non work time. Thank you for all of your time and effort you put in.

It seems to be that it is randomly timing out, I was just wondering if there was a fix or if anyone else was experiencing this.

I just encountered a problem after running MS3 6.1 since last release. On the lifestyle page when I try to scroll left or right it goes immediately to the today screen. But if I scroll up or down it goes to the professional page as it should. The widgets work like email icon touch it and it goes to email. Again if I take my finger and move it on the screen left or right instead of going to next page it goes to the today screen. Any suggestions out there? Everything else seems to work fine.
I do have "Change Skin" installed don't know if this could cause an issue.

Oh My God. This is the best rom of all time.. the old dreamphyre 7 or 9? was pretty good..
this rom.. is fast.. stable.. packed.. and classy!

I hate the cartoon pics.. I had win6.5 unneeded scrolling in menus to make the buttons large and they are large in this rom without the scrolling. Abso freaking lutely love this rom.
I don't think I'll be changing roms for a long long long time.

have you tried the 21806 or 21812?, i read someplace on this forum the same problem with 777 on 21725, wonder if its problem with builds 7xx? Cant wait for your new 6.5 build!

I am still on your 6.5 21502(version 16) and love it. Only problem i have is after installing s2u2 and WMWifirouter - i get mad delay in answering calls(slide to answer just hangs and in 50% of cases never answers the call in other 50% answers in about 20 seconds after sliding). Anyone notice this. I really need WMWifirouter soft so cant remove it unfortunatly but it seem to have started happening around time i installed it.

I experience that same issue with S2u2 and I am on the 6.1 version latest build on 5/31. I miss many calls because the slide to answer either lags to show up or to slide and answer the call. I am not even running the WMWifirouter program although I also love that program.

RSTG any ideas on how to fix this problem on either build? Maybe it would be good to add S2u2 as a cab and that way people can install as they wish. Just a tought thanks!

Unfortunately I do not use either one. S2U2 is cool, I only run it when Walgreens has ibuprofin on sale, as it causes a few too many problems...

startmenu-settings-spb phone suite, and uncheck everything... Or startmenu-settings-personal-today, and uncheck the plugin works as well.
