I've been working on this for several weeks, so been running various incomplete builds the entire time, heh. It's been extremely stable and fast since the beginning. Most of my flashing was just tests of moving icons around, installing and testing different apps, making sure registry entries were taking etc. Try it, you won't be dissappointed :)

Go to HKLM\Security\ResOver\Bitmaps
and change BatteryIconLevels to 101 dec, or 65 hex.
Hope that helps!

This is already preset in this ROM. Yet it still shows the battery low. Any fix?

an aside -- how can i make a ROM image of what i am running RIGHT NOW?

Also, I have found PIM Backup + ActiveSync to get a pretty comprehensive backup. PIM Backup will grab your txt messages and call logs, while Activesync grabs your emails and contacts. Then just copy your pictures and whatever other data to your storage card.

If you want to get advanced I use RapiConfig to pull out my registry entries and then use a custom sdconfig.txt file to reinstall apps and import all my program settings with xml files after a hard-reset :D You'll find TONS of that information elsewhere on this site. Good luck!

Hmm, the default setting after install should definitely not be 101dec. Are you saying that after changing the registry to 101dec and soft-resetting you are still seeing the low battery indication?

In my case the issue was that it was displaying 1/5th the actual battery charge. IE with 100% charge it would show 20%. With 50% it would show 10% etc...

i'm not too worried about it really -- as long as i have the stock sprint ROM i should be able to restore using Sprite

Ok, I've figured it out. But I have something else (may just be happenin' to me) ...
The black keyboard pops up as the TF3D loads.
It goes away, but I was wonderin' if there was anything in the back end makin' it do that.
This is a great ROM though.

No that happens to me too, I'm not sure why or how to fix it... Thanks for the kind words :)

At least it goes away. :)
I'll explore to see if there are any more bugs and report back.
Nice & fast so far.

Noticed something else.
We'll be at this (hopefully not all day)
Email set up.
Shows as me receiving emails since I first set up (3 of 15).
I close out for a call, went back into it and it shows that I have 7/98 in my box.
Strange, 'cause when I click on the inbox, it still shows as 3 of 15. Funny.

If you go to the dialer, hit right soft-key, options. I followed Silence's lead and hid the phone options from the control panel.

Question. How do I make the pics I take with my phone save automatically to my DCIM folder?

As it happens I JUST found that key in the registry the other day :D

Navigate to HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\General
change the EnableDCIM DWORD to 1. Then soft-reset.

That should save pictures to the DCIM folder. I believe the new "default" is to save to the \My Documents\ folder on either the storage card or main memory, depending on your settings.

Make sure it's set to 65 HEX, or 101 DEC. Not the other way around... Then soft-reset of course. Thanks for the compliment :)

I think he did what I did. I bet you he went into the folder and not the actual string.
That's how I figured it out.

Thanks for your help with the DCIM setting.

You are welcome :)

I can't thank people like lllboredlll, merdinh, calkulin, and silence ENOUGH!! If not for these people I would never have gotten into ROM building at all, or it would have been a hell of a lot more difficult!

Gotcha.

This is probably the best ROM out right now. It pretty much seems to be bug free save for the clock issue. This is a really great ROM! Good job and thanks!

To fix the clock, if you're having the hour set back issue and don't know how to fix it.

Set it to your time first then...

1. hit the dialer button
2. menu
3. options
4. services tab
5. scroll down to "time synchronization", get settings
6. un-check "time synchronize with moble net work automatically"
7. update now.

It works for mine. I can soft reset without it rolling back an hour.

Thank you! It's my first ROM ever. I could have released it weeks ago (and believe me, I wanted to) but I couldn't stand all the tiny little things like icons being in the right place, getting the clock and font CABs finished... It had to be perfect, heh.

I know star rom has made it so that clock on the home page has galarm built in to it and the hour behind problem is no more. I think someone else mentioned it earlier. Seems to be a good solution.

I think I've tried that before but the rolling back is very inconsistent for me... Sometimes it happens when I activesync, sometimes it happens if I tap the clock. I've just kind of shrugged it off as a rhodium manila issue for the time being. People have suggested it happens because the DST dates have changed, not really sure.

Oh cool, I wasn't aware that also fixed the time roll-back issue. I'll definitely take a look.

Is anyone having data issues? I can't seem to connect to any websites or email, or anything for that matter. Is there a way to update profile in this ROM or is that removed? I don't know if it is a tower issue or if I can't get data from the ROM.

It must be a tower issue, cause it just came back for a bit and went away again.

The ROMs kicking ... I liked it better than the others I have tried. I hope we could get a permanent solution for the clock and the battery issue. I tried changing the reg value to 101 and soft reset several times; I now have a G icon instead.. the battery disappeared. Is there a way to get my battery icon back? Except for these this the best ROM so far!!! U rock PSYKI ... also just as a note this ROM uses 50% memory at start up where as the Mighty ROM 4.16 uses about 39% (not an issue for me tho!)

Make sure when you are entering 101 that it is in DEC, not HEX. If you enter HEX, then use 65. It worked for me so double check that first.

Yeah, I am aware it eats up 50% memory at startup but even with programs loaded up and streaming video through the browser I have not seen any noticeable slowdowns.

The battery icon issue seems to be the one thing hitting most people, but its the inconsistency that drives me crazy. I'm attaching a potential battery fix CAB to the first post, check that out.

Great question, I forgot to mention that in my first post. I did not cook in any Arcsoft OEMs because I could not get any of them to work on my Sprint connection. I hear people have had luck with some of the CABs floating around. I will do some experimentation and figure out what works (for Sprint at least).
