- I flash my htc touch pro
- I install juicy's rom
- I reload the backup, and all of my contacts, photos, messages and programs i have downloaded are back on my htc, without the lagginess and bugs associated with the original stock rom?

Please let me know if i am correct, thanks.
keep note, however, that reloading from a sprite backup will restore the original registry and files which might undo some of the custom rom's tweaks

Is there a recommended way to back up the Sprint stock ROMs to be reinstalled at a later date in case I need to return the phone, or do you just DL the files from this forum and that's good enough (the post I read "Stickey: Stock rom links for cdma Touch PRO " talks about pre-release leaked versions).

You just download it from here. It's the same Rom that comes on the phone new from the store.
