Hard reset will fix that. I have had that happen on multiple roms.

Ok, I curious now. So I just downloaded the latest to my device and I'm flashing now. Can't think of a better rom than a grown and sexy one to check out the 6.5 hub-bub.

i'm a die hard "ghost"/"lurker" of this thread, but my anticipation prompted this post....

any news/update/info on the new 6.5 build(21502)? i can't wait to try it....i'm currently running Juicy's 4/29 build and am very happy with it, but i've got that unscratchable itch again.....and i haven't flashed a JD ROM since one of the earlier 21500 kitchen releases....seems so long ago...

also, to those with the issue of multiple texts being sent.....i know the consensus "fix" is a hard reset, but could the cause possibly be PIM Backup related?......

i haven't had this happen to me on any 6.5 ROM but i've seen people raise this issue in all ROM threads. i can't shake the feeling of this being caused by restoring old text msgs through a PIM Backup Restore.....are the msgs that are being resent OLD msgs or NEW msgs? or both?.....the reason i ask is because i had this issue in the mogul days and it was caused by random f-ed up PIM Restores.....since then, i've stopped restoring old texts.

also, as of today, i'm switching to microsoft's MyPhone app...i was hesitant at first putting all of my contacts on MSs servers, but after a friend told me he started using it(read: my info from his phone is up there) i decided that i might as well.....we'll see how that goes...god help us all if the server gets hacked.....i've heard people b!tch about spam txt msgs, but i've never recieved one myself....:knock on wood:

I don't think its from old exts as i never save mine. But i do use PIM for contacts only.I have had it happen a couple of times and i think its an arcsoft issue more than anything. Maybe just reinstaling the cab will fix it rather than hard reset. It seems to be a random problem though.

I didn't use PIM backup but Microsoft MyPhone.... hard reset did seem to fix it though

Great kitchen JD! So I took the plunge and merged your sys/oem with a kitchen I'm using now. I do have one question...

In the file: mxipupdate_oemoperators_101.provxml

I tried to comment it out and put it into an RGU. Boots without going into any normal welcome setup. I'm assuming this is an integer value and of course converted to hex in the rgu entry.

Any ideas? Is this somewhere else as well? And by chance do you know what the different bit settings are? I'd like just the calibration screen, and timezone if possible.

@ rstoyguy, I am glad to see your trying out what JD has to offer for the TP. I would love to SEE what you would do with this as a base, + similar to what you have now, you always have great combos.

nothing much... jd just has stuff way too well separated. just combined a bunch of oem's and deleted some.

the part where it has the email setup the integer is -3 change it back to 144
