Start Menu Issue - Good TaskManager Needed

Start Menu issue: Click Start, Click X, now Start Menu does not work any more.

After further testing it seems it is an issue/conflict between the new 6.5 Start Menu and Task Managers that close apps using the X button.

wkTask will do this. I added "Start" as an exception but although it worked for a while, it still on occassion disabled the Start Menu after a while.

An HTC Taskmanager from a cab had this issue as well. But it was from a cab that is probably outdated. I then installed the new HTC Taskmanager option in JD's latest kitchen with the excluded today screen thing and the Start Menu issue is not present in that scenario

Does anyone know of a good way to see what programs are running and close them? And to be able to close apps using the X button? And that will not mess up the Start Menu?

Re: JD's G52x ROMs and Simple Axe Kitchen

as strange as this sounds, i am going back to the G5 41009 kitchen. the G52x 6.5 21500 Kitchen is not rhodium friendly and i have too many hours into that to abandon it (i really dont care for the 6.5 today page at all)

i am willing to give up the ability to edit the page pool and a bit of speed in the O/S to keep all of the rhodium port intact.

with that being said...

thank you JD i will continue to be a supporter of your excellent work and try and contribute what i can to help

Alarm doesn't like it should.

I set alarm 4 which is pretty loud, and when it goes off, it's something very soft that's nto even on the list.

Any solution w/ this?

Thanks.

I would say it's the biggest part of the day lol, but i usually don't use the stock alarm. I use G-alarm but was just to lazy to install and set up last night. I'm sure it will work though becuase it has worked with all the other 6.5 builds. So it's not really a fix but it is a solution to the problem
