Re: Copper v.0.0.0.1 [6.5.21500 Build 21500] [16MBPP] [UC Compatible]
I believe GC had a ROM that didn't have TF3D or 2. Or you could take 4.16 and just diable it.

I take no credit in TFDetacher. Got it or the tip on it from Technology1. He and others have been a big help to me on the site. definatly worth it if U want to toggle between your front screens. U can also set up what softkey to use to toggle. |

Me too...no contest, Copper wins my battery life competition hands down! I'm very impressed. I saw some posts in this thread about data staying active for some reason. I don't see that at all on my install. In fact when I look at my data connections there is a message saying that data is off and will automatically switch on when needed. I'm wondering if it's now unnecessary to run the "disable EVDO after 1 minute" mod? Only battery saving mod I'm planning to throw at this is nuedynamicclock later tonight. I'm already impressed with Copper's battery life, if I gain a little bit by downclocking the phone while it's in suspend mode then that's just a bonus.

I tried the Mightyrom and it wasn't for me. sorry Mike This one seems more up my alley..
to the guy who seeing better battery life, how often do you have to charge and whats your usage like? I'm running a stock rom with telus radio 1.04 and all kinds of registry hacks and its decent, I find myself charging every day or day and a half with light to moderate use. |

I'm on Cricket just outside Charlotte NC. Running Copper as of late last night. Sprint 1.11 radio, only reg hacks are for mms & data. On all other ROMS I was down to 10-20% by 1-2pm (turned on at 7:30 at 100%) with mild to moderate use. Silence9 was best for me. Today was my first day with Copper and I was finally able to go the day without charging. That was with more use than normal as well as wifi turned on all day which I never did before.
If your'e getting a day or a day and a half count yourself lucky! I don't think many people are getting that much out of their TP. I was happy to get a day out of my phone today...it was starting to feel crippled by always needing that charger near by. I just came from a vzw blackberry that needed a charge every 2 days with moderate use so going only half a day really sucked. |

Wow..ok yeah I'm gunna stick with what I've got for now then.
I can relate to how you feel though. I mean I used a 6800/mogul with extended battery and like 10 registry hacks running. That thing would last 3-4 days when the battery was at its peak as far as holding a charge. Even one year later the extended battery would still give me 2 good days usually. In one amazing week I went from Friday to the following Thursday without a charge. Damn that phone was good to me haha |
