so far this thing is running pretty good. Finally got to load the cabs I wanted and everything seems to work. I could see copper progress into a highly stable, user friendly and fast ROM with this collaboration. Team work makes the dream work!

It's waaaaaaay more responsive, it's waaaay faster and there is less stuff (meaning programs) installed in the rom therefore lessing the chance of running into small bugs. I would HIGHLY recommend trying this rom

Is there a way to organize what programs you use most frequently like TF3D has? The new Start Menu is nice but having to hunt through all the programs you have installed for ones you use commonly is a little of a pain. TIA

+1 on liking the rom. I have been waiting on a good 6.5 that does not have TF3d or TF3D2 baked in.

Click and hold down on the Program shortcut that you like and you can move it to the top of the list that way all the ones you use often will be @ the top of your list no need to scroll and scroll to get to it.

I believe the new start menu is "smart" meaning it moves your most used prgrams to the top over time. I could be wrong, but i know for a fact the if you hold down on a program in the start menu if gives you the option to move it to the top so you can do that to organize them to your liking.

i don't know if you know but in that start menu if you press and hold a program you will get an option to move it to the top. This is what I do with the programs I most frequently us, but it is a pain to do it with each one.

In an other thread someone mentioned you could change the order in a explorer program like total command or resco by going into windows/start menu/programs folder and changing the order from there.

I can't get over how much PIE is improved. This is like having a whole new browser. This site renders extremely well...just as good as Opera. Now I'm not a great big fan of PIE but its now a great add in w/6.5.

P.S. I'm posting this from PIE.

I incorporated the 1D manila and its working great. The Rock And Republic theme with the black dialer looks amazing. Its kind of weird with the interface as when I hit start I get the 6.5 menu icons but everything else is like regular tf3d. Looks good and the rom is working great.

I've got it installed. But haven't found the icon for it yet (perhaps that's what is failing when one installs the .cab). It at least works for voice activated dialing.

MAN that took a LONG time to restore.

It has never taken this long on any of the many roms I've flashed.

Oh well.

If anyone else tries to restore and thinks it may have frozen somehow, just give it a few more minutes.

Is this consistent with others or was it just a fluke? no matter, answer if you feel like it.

mine freaked out for a couple min.s when i first restored my contacts and again when i got into my sms folder but then started acting like normal

it was very stable but personally i like my touchFLO and wisbar advace, which this rom didnt allow me to run the later of the two. The today screen though i was able to disable it, reminded me of the ZUNE

Wisbar Advanced isn't compatible with WM6.5. The developer is just starting to play with it, so we'll see if he can figure something out.

This damn rom is just ****ing amazing. IE is on another level it's playing the full youtube site and even goes into a full screen mode when watching videos. This is just crazy. I can't even imagine how nice this is gonna be when it's actually released on the Touch Pro 2

There isn't one to my knowledge yet. The possibility is certainly there, it's just a matter of time.

Stable so far. been messing with it all morning. Only issue aside from the internet thing is a few times. Not every time but when sliding the keyboard back in after closing out of a text message. It wont close the message all the way out. So basically half the screen is the text message convo and the other half is the list of conversations. No biggy only happened a few times. But i agree. Super fast and responsive.

What is the plan for music with 6.5? I ran an earlier build from someone elses ROM and it just ran regular windows MP. Is that pretty much it? Anything integrated with the home screen like TFLO3D?

Good news on Wisbar Advanced:

Chris McKay: "I just thought I'd let you know that I was able to get the bugs with WM 6.5 worked out. So, the next build of WA3 will work perfectly with WM 6.5.

It will be available by the end of the week. "

I just installed xboxmod's Rhodium Manila. Everything was going great until I set up my Seven BETA email accounts. I can see the emails in the email tab and I can read each individual email. but when I click on inbox to see the list of emails, nothing appears. I just get "To create a new message, tap Menu, then tap New."
