Colour me impressed. The new lock is cool, don't think I need S2U2 anymore. I've been out of coverage area so I haven't been able to mess with phone/data but just poking around I like what I see. Navigating seemed iffy at first but it's pretty intuitive. Still not as customizable out of the box as I would like (moving items around and such) but I'm still digging it. As far as the themes, I really like the plaid one (it's called ...something...purple) It's a little on the girly side, but I think if Rico put together a more masculine plaid (Burberry anyone?) I'd definitely rock it!

Man!! I just installed the rhodium manilla on this rom and it kicks ***!!!!!!!! WOW!! I advise anyone who likes the new manilla try it out on this!! There arent many bugs left that I can see!! Greaat work guys! Thx alot!!

Well I'm rollin on StarRom currently and its BUTTER....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... not sure if i'm going to make the switch...why is this so much better? lol. I don't have a change or (creation) log?

yeah i know i didnt mean it like that...it mite be fake for all i know & somebody just lied to them, but build doesn't really mater to me anyhow

but has anybody got reception issues? after i flashed my bars went from 3-7 evdo bars to 0-2 is it me or what, i reflashed a couple different radios but i cant get more then 3 at best and its just for a sec when before i tried this rom i would hold full signal at this same spot

Mike or LilRico,
Is there a custom taskbar you guys are using that won't make the X and OK up in the right corner miniscule? That's what happens when I install Tsowens/Mikes modified taskbar on this. Everything else looks ok(minus the bluetooth icon, which seems to be 6.5 related, but I'm not sure I even got it when connected to a device either).

Also, a bit of an annoying "feature", not sure if it's 6.5 related but, when I goto the settings menu and click an icon from there, when I am done with whatever it is, it does not return me to the settings menu or the start menu, but to the main "home" screen. Some may like it, but I prefer it return me to the menu I started from, but that's just me.

Ok, I've been using this for about 20 minutes and I was on STARROM 1.4 Before this...and I believe it was packed a bit more with TF3d2, more goodies including sprite backup...with zero issues. I'm going to run with this for today, but I may wait on a more "juiced" up lol..pun intended...version. I am looking forward to this guys keep up the good work! Sig pic stays:)


F-it. I'm lazy today...ROM stays. Will post back with differences, but I do have to say STARrom is packed with some goodies...I highly recommend it for now.

I got the same issue goin on here. I flashed a couple hours ago and haven't seen it go above 1 bar, but mostly it's been sitting at no bars. Before flashing this rom it was always fluctuating between 0 and 2 bars, but mostly 1 or 2. I made a few test phone calls and didn't notice any change in call quality or anything weird.
Aside from this odd signal bars issue, I'm soooooo lovin this rom. I'm never goin back to 6.1. Mighty and Juicy ...thank you ...thank you ...thank you

Fastest 6.5 yet! Uc didn't run the first time after flashing but ran after I hard reset. This thing will be awesome when Juicy adds his keyboards! I know 6.5 has some issues with current dialers but I can live with this one for now. Awesome job.

I do have to say since this IS NOT PACKED with the TP2 port...it is BLAZIN' fast. Lets see how much I REALLY liked tp2 vs speed:)

Hey Mike, the one thing I do miss from TF3D and TF3D2 was some way to see my day's appointments on the home screen. Any way to do this here or at the very least maybe add a number of appointments today, to the word "Calendar" on the homescreen, like you do with the e-mail?

I think I am posting the first minor bug (btw I've been up pretty late texting/testing this rom)
I use def7 push email program. When my messages synched, I couldn't see the actual message. At the bottom of the screen, it shows the message number and unread, but no messages are actually in the mail system if that makes any sense. I'll try and screen shot it
edit also cosmetic thing but there is a small funky white square at the upper left hand corner of the screen where the microsoft logo is...
otherwise very fas and stable

Just to let everyone know if you DON'T WANT YOUR BACKGROUND TO TILE when you landscape...just take whatever image you are using and RESIZE it to a width of 680 and constrain the properties (I think it goes to 803 Height) and it will NOT tile AND look the same on the homescreen. Hopefully this helps!

basically instead of 480x640, convert your images to 640x803 =D>

So far I've like what JD has been doing with the 6.5 ROMs, but it wouldn't hurt to see what a collaboration like mike and Juicy can offer. I'm going to try this out.

When installing MS Voice Command I get a unrecoverable Error at the end of the installation.

I am unable to unlock the GPS. I am using llbored's Verizon GPS Fix v2 and htc gps tool. When I use the ppst tool during the process of unlocking it errors out saying "Unable to stop the radio" "rebooting" and it reboots.

I went ahead anyways hit *228 and reprogrammed the phone, rebooted, and loaded htc gps tool, selected cold start, q7500, com 4, baud 4800 and opened port. Googlemaps sees the GPS but will not lock on any satellites. I know theres no problem with my GPS as I used it thismorning with Mighty Rom 4.16 prior to flashing copper.

EDIT- I went through the process again. This time I did not get the error. the ppst tool completed properly and I rebooted. I reprogrammed the phone, went togps tool, set it up properly and opened port. Google maps again sees the GPS chip, the device gets really hot, but after 6 minutes ittimed out unable to lock any satellites. I was outside with a clear sky here and I checked and made sure location was on.

EDIT 2- HAHA I got it to work. I went through the process a 3rd time and this time it connected within 30 seconds. No idea what the fluke was but the GPS locked on 9 satellites and Googlemaps went right to my location.. Woo hoo I'm happy now..

Gonna test out voice command to make sure it works.

More cab questions...

Can I install (advanced config) to tweak the home screen. Maybe the picture and music tab. Also I know about titanium weather, but is it possible to add a different tab to the home screen?

Also is GPS download function really neccesary to have GPS(telenav) working decent again. Seems like a lot of work to setup that feature....
