BLawicki,

I see you were using StarROM 1.4. That is what I am on right now and it is running really good. Can you tell me what you think of this new rom compared to the StarROM? Should I make the switch? What are the differences?

Thanks Man...

I've changed it to 8 and its working fine. I'm going to work on a Verizon help post today sometime. I'm still messing with settings. I have almost 60 megs of free ram though LOLOL

Hey Mike/LilRico Thanks for this release, as always looking forward to give it a shot.
Looks great.. I do have one question and hopefully if it was already asked and answered i'll be forgiven (this time)..lol

This newest build you have of 21500, If this a real build? I ask because there's post in our community that suggest that it may be fake.. (please don't shoot the messenger)

Pim Backup Issues... Almost

has anyone else had any PIM Backup issues?

I am trying to restore my contacts etc. using the latest Pim Backup program and it seems to be stuck at ... wait it just finished.

MAN that took a LONG time to restore.

It has never taken this long on any of the many roms I've flashed.

Oh well.

If anyone else tries to restore and thinks it may have frozen somehow, just give it a few more minutes.

Is this consistent with others or was it just a fluke? no matter, answer if you feel like it.

Flashed it last night. So far no issues. I didnt see the answer to this so if I missed it sorry. Mike/juicy does this have any of the battery improvements built in? One thing i loved about your ROMS was the battery life.

I used PIM Backup, and it worked just fine for contacts...my test messages dates were all out of wack, but that may have been from when i originally backed up.

edit also cosmetic thing but there is a small funky white square at the upper left hand corner of the screen where the microsoft logo is...
otherwise very fas and stable

Make sure it's not set to "conversation" on the upper right hand tab of your mailbox, then you'll see all your mail.

Alright, here's an issue I had. The phone stopped charging at some point last night, but it wasn't locked up. I've never had that happen before without the phone being locked up as well.

Ok odd issue. Maybe not a issue per say. But my data seems to always be on and connected. I soft reset and now its acting normal. It got started when i went to check my email. Didnt effect making a call. But as soon as I hung up it went right back on. Comm manager showed under phone "Data" Like I said dunno if its a issue or not but i wanted to post it up.

Re: Copper v.0.0.0.1 [6.5.21500 Build 21500] [16MBPP] [UC Compatible]

Question: Is there a way to get a bigger X button to close out of programs? It was my initial understanding that WM 6.5 would give us a bigger X button, but it seems that the X button is more prone to not being hit on the 1st try.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I noticed the same thing. I hope this doesn't affect battery life too much!

I completely agree. I seem to keep hitting the clock when I think I'm hitting the X/OK button

I used to use S2U2 where when I would turn the screen back on, it would load up. how do I get this new lock to do the same. I can only get it to do that with a password where i have to slide it and then type in a 4 digit number code. Is there anyway to do this WITHOUT the number code, just the slide when turned on?

sorry to do multiple posts but i keep forgetting different questions I had after playing around with it yesterday. So i installed the Weather tab, soft reset, and now I have the tab there with an icon in it that says "Run Weather Setup Now". My problem is I can't click that icon and the Right softkey has nothing to click like I've read it should. I have no way of setting up the weather. Also is there a way to change it from saying "TitaniumWeather" to "Weather". Its not a big deal, but just figured I'd ask

Scroll down and you should see a panel titled "Launcher". Highlight that and then tap the right soft key for setup. You won't see "Titanium Weather" after it is initially set up, it will always display weather info.

Ok I'm going to bed soon. Been up all night but I wanted to post some feedback quick.

PagePool set to 8
Stock Verizon Radio

1) GPS works using llbored's Verizon GPX Fix v2

2) Data Connection works flawlessly

3) I made and received several phone calls with no issues. Call sounds were really good using the speaker and speaker phone.

4) Verizon Arcsoft MMS installed and works. I was able to send and receive MMS, SMS, and I sent a short Video Clip.

5) Bluetooth Works well. It connected with my Jawbone headset and sound was great on calls.

6) Microsoft Voice command gave me an unrecoverable error upon installation however it appears to have installed and works with my headset. I voice Dialed my daughter and it heard me fine and I was able to select music to play. It does not, however Announce incoming calls. I can't believe they didn't fix this. After making the reg edits it is working. But it won't out of the box.

7) VzNavigator still does not work. Its missing the GPS dll file it needs and I can't seem to find it on the net anywhere.

8) VzAppzone works great after you change the User Agent so it can Identify the device properly.

9) Music player works. It was able to see all my music on the card appropriately.

10) Internet Explorer works and has decent rendering speed. I tested downloading a few cabs and I was able to navigate to ppcgeeks with no problems.

Thats all I tested so far. Really tired from work all night so I'm headed to bed. I can say one thing about this, I absolutely HATE all the themes and absolutely hate the windows default home screen. It's awful. I switched to the old school wm home screen. its better. All the color themes really stink.

But so far the ROM is really fast and working really well. When I wake up later I will do more testing and add more apps and games.

I agree. What did you do to go back to the original home screen? I just loaded the 1D manila.....is that what you did?

Can't get it to work automatically. I can manually lock it and it works (Start, Lock on bottom). I would like to set it to activate whenever I turn the screen off. I found one registry hack which involved AutoLockEnabled but that didn't work..

Anyone have any ideas to get this working by turning the screen off?

No I did not load any Manila. I went back to the old school WM screen. In Settings/today uncheck Windows default and then select everything else and it will go back to the old school wm home screen.

CHome is just a today plug in. To get use the old WM home screen go to start>settings>today>items>uncheck WM Default (CHome)>select whatever else you want.

try this background with the blue buttons theme that came stock. forget what the theme was called. I think it works nice because its kind of a cool background and it also keeps the left side free so you can read all the words from the Titanium slider

Not by default, but I believe the cab for them, is included in the package(in the Optional Directory) and you can install them if you want them(I hated them so gonna stick with the 6.5 default menus).
