Re: new radio 1.07.06f

I've had the 1.07 for over a day. So, not much time to really test everything.

But, I grabbed the phone fully charged and watched about 30-40 minutes of youtube. And of course, very, very warm and took about half of my battery. Now I always run that test with the others as well. But 1.07 probably warmed my phone as much as 1.11F. Telus 1.04 being the least with warmth..

I am starting to think it doesn't matter what I am experiencing. We all have different phone reactions with the same radios but have different configurations. Some of these positive reaction are near my area but have a different ROM or different tweak.

The only way to be completely satisfied is doing the tests on your own. But have a strategic method as well as being consistent.

These posts, personally influence my desicions some what. I read a positive comment and think that could be me. But I get the exact opposite. Not a bad thing, just sayin...

Re: new radio 1.07.06f

I've been running this for about 2-3 days now on two TPs. One with JD WM 6.5 and one with Mighty ROM stock. Coming from the 1.11 Sprint I have noticed a decrease in GPS lock time. Battery and reception seems to be the same.

Re: new radio 1.07.06f

Re: new radio 1.07.06f

Anybody have experiences coming from the Telus 1.07.01V?

I have that revision, and have always been wary flashing to another radio as my current one hasn't been dumped yet. If somebody finds that this 1.07.06F is better, I'll contemplate switching.

dunno why. it accomplished nothing but an inconvenience to others.

Flashing radio is at your own risk and every one realizes this. so removing it for the users safety as i was told makes no sense. especially since the diamond forums radio thread is still stickied.
I don't think it ever was a sticky in here. As far as I can remember it's always just been floating around

I had this problem in certain areas. (My house) Got an airave and no problems anymore. It's not a phone or radio problem.
