Back to the thread topic, though: I am having very good luck with this new radio, compared to the previous ones I tried. So far, it is extremely stable. Battery life seems to be average, nothing particularly bad or good about it. I am getting pretty good signal and have not dropped data once in the last 24 hours! |

Re: new radio 1.07.06f
I'm having good luck with this radio, as well. Signal seems strong and consistent and the heat seems less as well.
As for the sticky, the radio thread really SHOULD be restickied. Just about EVERYTHING in the Upgrades forum is risky, to an extent, so why differentiate the radio upgrades? |

Re: new radio 1.07.06f
This is an excellent radio, thanks, it works well in a low coverage area, better than the 1.11. I'm sticking to it.

Re: new radio 1.07.06f
My preliminary tests seem to show reduced/eliminated GPS lag. I am taking a long roadtrip today and will report tonight.

Re: new radio 1.07.06f
Wow I am thrilled at the initial results. I just switched to the 1.11.00F (Sprint Diamond) this weekend and it already almost doubled my battery. I would be ecstatic if this US Cellular TP radio improved it even further. I'll try it this weekend I think.
