I would strongly suggest not using this. From checking other boards it looks like this may have been the cause of my multiple messages.

I found a registry fix for this (found as in someone else worked it out and I stumbled on their fix, not found as in 'hey look at how smart I am to figure this out).

HKCU -> Software -> Microsoft -> SMS -> Textshared - Change IS637Max... value to 160 (make sure to pick Dec not Hex). This will get you back to 160 chars again.

I just flashed, hard reset and I've got corrupt ringtones. Also, as others mentioned, opening "All people" seems to appear and then crash TF3D.

this cab does the exact thing you said you did. i looked at it before i posted it. and i use it myself and never had any problems. so for those that dont want to mess with registry, you can just dl n install the cab and it will do same as said above

Hey guys, got all problems figured out (I think) just testing also updated some system apps which may have been the cause of some of the problems. Things seem a little quicker. I figured out the manila problems were from me accidentally using my old OEM. I'll try and hey it out tonight.

OK, sorry. I am just confused as to what caused my issue and saw someone had said they had a similar issue using this.

Again, could be a coincidence, and if you have tested I stand corrected. I am still confused what the problem was, and was trying to help others avoid a potential banana skin.

I wasn't thinking you, or anyone would deliberately do that. Or at least people who spend a lot of time on these boards trying to help anyway. I was just putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with dishwasher.

I'm wondering if I'm seeing remnants of my old ROM (I have hard reset after flashing). I went from Juicy to this ROM, and have noticed the following 2 things:

Dropped calls give me a "doh" pop up

and

I have a "3G" icon instead of a "EV" icon.

I've also noticed that ever since my Juicy flash I have either 1 or no bars for my signal. I know that this is normally a radio issue, but it all revolves around that flash to Juicy's Rom.

On a side note, I love this ROM! Great work Starman!

If anyone has any thoughts I'd appreciate the feedback.

EDIT: I am using the 1.6beta

Thank you for this. I had to do a hard reset earlier and this saved me a ton of time. I had been downloading different combos of cab files and only needed one all along. THANK YOU!

EDIT: I did have to load the dcd file too. Without it the menus were all there but wouldn't send pics.

I am not frustrated. He gave the option of waiting for the final version or taking it for a whirl. As it comes with most of the stuff I want, I am happy to help out a little if I can. I can't build this stuff, or fix it, or in fact do anything clever with it. I do like to try and give a bit back though by helping others with solutions I have found.

This is a very cool ROM, and I am surprised it isn't more 'famous' than it currently is.

This version is good. I am not frustrated with the errors. StarROM has every utility that I normally use cooked in.

This is my 3rd WM 6.5 ROM. Once you know what programs don't work with WM 6.5 you don't have any problems at all with errors. This ROM is to me the best mix of WM 6.5 and Rhodium Manilla I've seen yet.

Just download an Opera cab. That should take care of your globe

Only problem I've had is with the all people on the people tab resetting TF3D2 - but the XBOD Manilla Fix V1b.zip file on post #865 fixed it perfectly. This ROM works brilliantly - faster than the other 6.5 TF3D2 ROMs, no issues, has the programs I like already built in.

Kudos Starmans on another great ROM

Starmans - any way to uninstall or remove TF3D? I got hooked on the Mobile Shell from another ROM, but I really like your ROMS better. So now I'm running 1.4 with Mobile Shell installed, but want to be on your best ROM, just without TF...

Thanks, and keep cooking some fanstastic ROMS.

I've tried almost all of the 6.5 ROMs and this one is definately the best with TF3D Rhodium. I even have SPB Mobile Shell 3.0 running without any problems on this ROM and I am using the Touch Flo Detacher program that allows you to toggle between TF3D and SPB Mobile Shell 3.0 and again this works without any problems.

Thanks for another great ROM Starman!

I've tried Copper, and StarRom has them all beat by my standards. I'd just like Manilla removed to free up space and avoid "potential" slow downs and lock ups. After using Mobile Shell, I'm not sure I could go back to TF3D.

I'm running 1.5 and LOVE IT!!!

Before I upgrade to 1.6 I got some ?s

1. I use the Titanium home screen, does the G-alarm come up when you press the clock?
2. Is OneNote in this ROM? I use that program a lot
3. How is the lag with texting? and with the keyboard?
4. PIM is listed does that mean that removed Sprite backup?
5. is the 6.5 theme bug fixed?
6. getting the SIP keyboard changed from the WM default in Opera?

Thanks again for the great wrok!!!!!!

Thanks again for the great wrok!!!!!!

1. No G-Alarm is not opened by Titnium
2. 1.6a is uploading it is included.
3. I have updated some system apps overall everything seems a littl faster
4. I will add it back in for the next build if people want I don't use it!
5. I have not checked this out yet, but I am going to have a new sys for 1.7, let me know if you still have this problem.
6. The SIP keyboard stays at whatever you switch it to in Opera beta 2 now.
