Quick question about Touch Pro
i have a new verizon touch pro coming
 and im wondering would it be easier to flash the phone and install the custom rom BEFORE or AFTER i transfer my number to the new device? Or does it matter?

I activated it before I flashed...
but in reality, it makes no difference.

Really makes no difference, I would activate first though, just in case you pick a ROM with a dialer that doesn't support ## Codes

I would activate it before i flash - that way if there is a problem no need to flash back to stock and relock etc. that just me though

always activate before you flash and make sure mms, net, sms, wifi etc whatever u use is working with the Carrier ROM. After testing and verifiying it works cuase it should always work then i would flash. If it doesnt work with carrier rom chances are it wont work with custom rom. Unless its GPS locked out. But at least test MMS, SMS, Net , Wifi.
