Storage Card question

I have my Rom set to install off my storage card. After i install it, it deletes the .cab files from the storage card. How do i stop this from happening?

Re: Storage Card question

I just make a copy of the rom file to the root of the sd card, then rename the copy. This way I still keep the original in a folder of the rom's name that doesn't get deleted.

Try this - install the Advanced Config tool (I included the cab here) - once installed run it, go all the way to the bottom to Miscellaneous and on Delete CAB file after install, change that to No. Select Done at the bottom and let your phone reset. That should work for ya.

Oh if you get an error when trying to open Advanced Config - you will need to install MS Net 3.5 and after installing soft reset your phone and then you should be able to open Advanced Config.

Re: Storage Card question

Check in your Systems tab under Settings and see if you have a 'Clear Storage' icon. You can do a hard reset thru there.

Hi. You have to hold the volume down, enter button(round d-pad), power on and the reset button(take the stylus out of the tp and use it to press the soft reset button in the small hole on the bottom of the tp). You have to press the soft reset button and the power button at the same time or it will just soft reset. And you have to hold all the buttons until the hard reset screen comes up. Then follow the prompts on the screen. I hope this help u out.

Not exactly, you don't have to be a contortionist to have to reset your phone
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=61326

Basically hold the power button down on your phone until it prompts you to turn it off, select YES
Then wait for the phone to turn off (wait for the home button light to turn off)
Press the D-Pad (Enter Button), Volume Down and Power button at the same time, keep holding until the screen powers on white with blue lettering and follow the prompts.
