you are already locked, as i suspected.
all you need to do now is flash the alltel shipped rom again, cause you are stuck in the unbootable cycle. connect phone to your computer and open the alltel shipped rom you downloaded

you're welcome man. it took a while but you finally got it. lol.

for future reference:
your phone does not have to be unlocked for shipped roms. the only reason for unlocking a phone is so that you can flash custom roms and radios.
spl 0.37.0000 = locked
spl 0.37.cmonex = unlocked

Okay- I'm unable to relock my Touch Pro via the SD card, and the reason I need to do this is the USB (as well as the speaker) are not working on my device. I was able to reflash back to a stock Sprint ROM, but when I try to relock via the SD Card, the screen goes gray with "Loading..." in the upper middle, and does nothing after that (it's been 10 minutes). The USB connection SEEMS to be charging the phone, but it's not connecting to my PC. Any suggestions? I'm using the relock file from post 1.

The bootloader screen says "Security Unlocked" at the top of the bars- and shows SPL-0.37.0000

This is the state I got the phone in when I got it used...and until this evening, the thing ran great. Suddenly, and without any drop or anything, the phone started flaking out, sliding the keyboard out no longer changes the screen orientation and I have no USB connectivity or speaker.

So razorloves- the banner that says "Security Unlocked" isn't going to send Sprint into a tizzy? Despite the fact that the problems are hardware based, if they go into the bootloader, won't they see that and have issue? Or is that the normal phrase shown on the bootloader screen?

Works for me. And of course, the phone is operating "Normally" again now- with no explanation or reason.

Been working fine. I'm sending a phone back to sprint, so I loaded it with a non dumped sprint stock rom and attempted to relock it. The relocker got stuck and now I can't even boot up. Everytime I turn on it goes to the tri color screen and says "Upgrade ROM Code error Please try again" Anyone know how to get out of this? I tried flashing a new rom to get out but it continues to read the same message. Help I need to send this back ASAP.

sounds like you have a dumped rom instead of the shipped one double check the link you found it from. if you dont see the word shipped describing it assume its dumped.

my bigger issue is I can't get past the tri color screen period. Starting to feel like the phones bricked can someone guide me back to a regular screen? THanks.

take out your sd card and soft reset your phone then write down EVERYTHING you see.

when i put in a different ROM to flash it just floats at the "loading ..." screen and nothing happens :(

while on the tri-color screen, connect it to computer and you will see the word "Serial" change to "USB". then, on your computer, open the shipped rom exe and it will flash your rom and fix your phone

if you flash via bootloader you can usually tell shipped roms by what is indicated as being flashed, if you've flashed via SD Card quite a few times then you'll know what I'm talking about... for those that dont when you load a ROM via bootloader it will tell you what all the flash includes, like for example the Sprint stock TP ROM shows Bootloader - Splash1 - Splash2 - Radio - OS

1) download the nbh from here
2) reformat your SD Card to Fat32 (even if its already Fat32)
3) put the nbh on the card and flash

worked for me :D

WOOT, thank you for all of your help. I really appreciate it guys, this forum is amazing. In the end, connecting via USB and running a RUU from the computer fixed it. But I still really appreciate all the methods people gave me, thank you.

Do I need to relock it before sending it back to sprint? What's the best way to do it :( Now I'm scared of relocking. The last time I did it (screwed everything up) I downloaded the relocker, put it on a formatted fat32 SD card, reset into bootloader and let it do its thing (soft reset hold power+vol down.). Where did I go wrong?

according to what you posted earlier, you are already relocked.
SPL 0.37.0000 = locked
SPL 0.37.cmonex = unlocked

you didn't do anything wrong. sometimes when unlocking or locking, the phone gets stuck in the bootloader (tricolor) screen. Then to fix it, you just flash a rom. Just like you did.

I just want to be sure before I do this. For a verizon touch pro, does anyone know if I need to use the verizon manual sspl from cmonex's unlocking post or does the link provided in the first post work?

And hating ActiveSync as I do, I'd like to use the SD card method. Do I only have to extract the 100+ meg file which is called RUU_signed.nbh and rename it to RAPHIMG.nbh to get it to work from the SD card?

But I have another question: this ROM image will also replace my radio. As long as my phone is unlocked, should I have any problems reflashing/reverting to my preferred radio after updating the ROM from Sprint?

Happy to report that the SD card flash worked fine, and DID NOT relock the phone - so I went back to my preferred radio. Now to do another hard reset for luck and start restoring everything I can. Hope Good Things 2 Life will investigate this ROM and update his cleanup package.

having a little problem flashing with this...

the security is unlocked and i have the renamed RAPHIMG.nbh from the rom i want in the base level of storage card... but when i go to flash mode it just sits at the red/green/blue screen.... it never goes to the grey screen that prompts to press power to flash...

i'm having to flash from the computer...

would be much nicer to just be able to use the card... rather than mess with the stupid active sync....

any help?
