hey bored do i download this one CE OS 5.2.21501 (Build 21502.5.0.3.B) Verizon ROM
for my sprint TP on vz network or the one that says

Dern THe ROM I just cooked didn't boot either.
Same options I've been trying on booting systems.

Sometimes, which seems like it is random, the top and bottom curtains that appear while in the SMS Messaging window, just appear on their own while on the main screen.

If I go back into SMS messaging and back out, they disappear.

I notice it because they are physically different colors, and no longer transparent on the main menu, and the functions on the bottom curtain (left and right side) or no longer visible/accessible.

I actually just had an idea of just hitting the home button next time I see it and see if that fixes it as well. I'll keep you informed.

If I'm not making sense, I can try and provide a screenshot of it. I know I'm using the term curtain differently than what would have been used in Manila, maybe taskbars? I dunno what'd they'd be called.

EDIT: Yes, hitting the home button fixes it as well. It will be just sitting on the home screen, go to sleep while I'm doing other stuff. When I wake it up, those "curtains" or "taskbars" for messaging are now up and cover the normal home screen data. It's like it is in the messaging app, but you still see the today screen.

i noticed after the rom boots the messaing app will open on its own (top and bottom bar as you see it) i hit x and it dont happen again until after i reboot...every single one of the 215** builds do this to me

depends on if you are comfortable building your own in the kitchen or would rather just run the one I built for you guys.... personally if you arent fluent with the kitchen you would be better off just using the ROM i constructed

No I didn't. In an earlier ROMs, before I figured it had no use, I did include it and they all booted.
My ROMs are pretty spartan besides some safe OEMs.

ahh a clean rom fan...... i have considered a stripped version of 6.5.... just waitin for the perfect build to base it off of

Is it possible to save the rom after its cooked, or extract the rom once its up and running with the extras installed?

Look in the "\Tools\RUU" folder.
