I don't know if this helps, but i just downloaded the kitchen, made my changes, and when i went to the "Multiplatform PagePool Changer" and tried to change my page pool size i receive the message
"Nothing found. Invalide, unknown, or encrypted ROM file. Select another"

I didnt make many changes to the ROM itself, and I did try to compile it after that with no changes from default.

EDIT: yes i did read the readme and saw line 3

Okay question... I know higher number builds are not always better, but I have to ask, why did you go from 21501 to 21222? I see the trend for a lot of the chef's has been to go to 212XX over the last few days vs. 215XX.

Just wondering what you guys are seeing that you think these lower number builds are better?

this has been stated several time. the 215xx build are windows offical build releases and the 212xx are HTC build releases

So? Not trying to be smart but if you read it, and you saw line three why did you expect to receive any different results than you saw? It clearly states that while he didn't remove it from the "Start Kitchen" sequence of the executable, we are NOT to use it.

I have had no problems on mine - and I just clicked on "close" when it popped up.

I am a VZW user and i flashed mine yesterday after downloaded the kitchen at 10:48 ET (after the dust settled from the extraction problems). I have had no difficulty running mine.

I did have the boot screen problem a week or two ago on Decibel's ROM when I first attempted 21222,... but never on Bored's.

Let me know if someone wants my .nbh

Update on my freeze on boot screen. I used a different computer, downloaded again, extracted again and set up everything the same and this time it worked. No idea what the difference is, but its working now.

Hmm, Im still having problems. Ive even swapped out the flashing program for someone elses, with and without activesync it just sits at the Verizon wireless boot screen.

It SOUNDS like this is only happening to people with VZ phones.
Ive trieds this on Win7, Vista and 2 separate xp machines (all but 1 xp machine had activesync.)
And then there's the theory that it may be my phone. THAT would suck.

I have downloaded the kitchen and installed the basic rom on my Verizon Touch pro. Works like a charm. No problems.

Woah, didn't expect to see such an explosion of replies. To add my $.02, everything is working splendidly :) First ROM cooked with the kitchen has been working flawlessly since I flashed it yesterday. Every issue I had with a previous 6.5 release is no longer occuring.

Thanks bored!

@smcgroarty: I'm going to have to agree with this guy quoted above, you might have read line 3, but you clearly didn't understand it. You shouldn't be using that screen at all, just click close.
