glad you are enjoying it

straylight: I'm going to see if there is some kind of solution I can find for you. When you were refering to your IT department, is the general idea that you are not allowed to install anything on your pc that they dont provide? Even drivers?

Thats correct, I cannot install Active sync in work computers. However, Ive tried it at home as well. It's so odd, especially since its works for everyone else.

The good news is that it sounds liek its my hardware in particular. Which means its not a problem with the kitchen itself.

Are you still using the "hooker Rom" config? Maybe ill try that and see what happens.

Edit: Nope, still nothing, I just sit at that screen.

I have had no problems on mine - and I just clicked on "close" when it popped up.

Because I do not follow directions well.

@smcgroarty: I'm going to have to agree with this guy quoted above, you might have read line 3, but you clearly didn't understand it. You shouldn't be using that screen at all, just click close.

Nope, and i completely understood it.
But after you get a ROM that hangs you start to look outside the box for answers.
Like i found that when i copied another ROM's SYS and ROM folders into lllboardlll's kitchen, it compilied and installed, but i did not trouble shoot futher. And yes it was broken

Oh one last note, if we all followed direction well wouldnt we all be using the stock Verizon/Sprint/Alltel ROM and accepting it as the best chioce?

For the record, I don't read manuals, but I do follow direction. :drunken:

When there are just a few steps to get me what I want - I can handle that!!

All you have to do to re-gain the flexibility of setting your own PP is use XipporterEx (which is included in the .rar file) instead of Pagepool Changer.

I'm not having any problems with my ROM - but it didn't solve some of the problems that I thought it would. I had no lag or over use of memory in 21502 and ran with a PP of 10 at 50% memory pretty consistantly.

With 21222 I still have to slide to unlock twice on occaision (granted if you hold it for a few seconds at the end - it seems to work on the first try). But I am running at 10 PP and 65 - 70% memory. And there appears to be some lag,... for instance: I dial three number and it hangs on the forth number.

Thank you, I will try the XipporterEx tonight when i get home,
but i really dont want the lag with it, i am already having to cut back on a few things just because it is a verizon phone. I should have gotten the sprint handset.

I too noticed a little bit more RAM usage with 21222. However, there were enough bugs in 21502 and/or the kitchen that it was packaged with that makes the current version better for me.
