well if you are looking for teh welcome screen on the device it's in the windows folder... welcomehead.192.png

you can back your notes and files thru activesync...it's all in the settings

are you sure that isnt just a simple font size change in the screen settings?

I must have a dsm with the wrong attributes if it's different throughout the builds because I used the same OEM pack for the new updates.

hmmm, maybe. I've noticed this with some on some of scrosler's too. Never tried changing the font size before. I'll give that a shot next time a flash to one that is like that. So you havent noticed some being large/small with the different sys files?

Hey Bored to fix the double icon issue, go into the OEM_Lang folder, and open the InitFlash file with a notepad, and go through the text and edit the shortcut entries in there, you can delete the ones that are causing doubles. Or in the folder of the programs that have doubles open the initflash text file, and then deleted the part that has Start Menu\Programs\

much appreciated.... i did look at teh InitFlash in the OEM's and it was fine... I'll take a look in the OEM_lang folder

I just played with my current ROM and it probably is just the way the sys files are packaged with whichever font size. Just something that I never thought to check and change. Wow, sometimes its the easy stuff that stumps me

There is an issue if you used the HD engine. It really doesnt support it.
