go into that folder you just unpacked and click the file that says start kitchen

buildos will pop up....make all the desired selections you would like then click the play button on the upper left.... if it errors make sure you didnt select 2 of the same thing such as Album or Manila's..

click the change button then close

the ROM Update Utility will pop up and just follow the prompts

I got a couple of questions here. I have installed the 21042.1.9.0B rom this morning and noticed a couple of things and was wondering if there is a fix for them.

-Rhodium menus are a different font depending what programs you are in compared to 21015 where they were all the same.

-TCPMP, I can never get this program to run on my TP, it keeps erroring out and having a crash.txt report. Is there a workaround or I am a idiot.

Other than that, everything looks great. Keep up the good work Bored

I'm sure it will slow it just a little because I'm positive some background dll's will still be in affect

if you leave out tf3d, the keyboard, and touchflow and only include the phone so you can have the bt icons you should have a pretty fast rom

also if you do not select file explorer extension you will have scrolling wihtout touchflo... i have the rom set to use the WM dragmetrics but the file explorer extension screws that up if included

By the way I updated my radio to 1.11 and on my first test the issue of it not reconnecting when I've been in an area with no signal, and then moved to an area with signal, has seemed to have been resolved by this update. I did not need to soft reset to get it to connect. The real test will be when I take the metro home - but I am pretty confident.

I am going to start tinkering with kitchens and start to cook my own ROM's. But i had a question, if I have .cabs that I want to make oem's how do i do it?

I know it's a noob question, but i am trying to get all the fixes together for TP2 and cook them together.

I am a super-noob when it comes to this, so if you could point in the right direction i will be uber-excited.

I am going to try to get an carrier indepedent version of the Touch Pro from HTC, I will post results on that when I get it...

i would suggest you start by importing your oem's into bored's kitchen just to get the hang of it buildos and cooking your own rom.

I have been doing that, and I think i got that part down. The problem comes after i run BuildOS. I have no clue what to do next. (This is soooooo different from building websites!!) lol
