question for Juicy, since there is so much *****en in the kitchen, do you think the programmers at xda and other sites kinda left the refining development of TF3D2 AND THE RHODIUM DIALER alone and move on to other projects cause im not finding any info, anybody can chime in that knows....

I tried this first and where the drop down menu is that has POP3 highlighed already it wont let me select anything else, its like you cant use the dropdown menu but its there. Everything else is changed to the correct thing for Imap. Possibly solution why its doing that?

I got the same, what I did was enter some garbage email address that the wizard cannot automatically find and configured. Then a different window will show up and asked if you want to configure it manually. This will allow you to change from POP to IMAP. I am not too familiar with the scripts so I cannot say, but that would be awesome if someone can direct us to the "how-tos" for scripting...

So back to the instruction, once I am finish with the settings I go back in and change my email address to the gmail one. For example,

I would start with myname@ggmail.com add the extra "g" will by pass the auto configure that forces the POP selection. After settings are completed, I go back in and removed the extra "g".

I know it's stupid, but from my limited knowledge, that was all I knew how to force the IMAP selection.

Hope that helps...

I mean WOW.. I just can't believe that attitude. He treats you like some punk kid.

Incredible.

As has been said, its this sort of crap that often destroys dev teams, and even studios.
Trust me, I know...

+1!!! I am not a programmer so I appreciate all that you do Juicy, ROCK ON!

Once you learn to setup UC and create a _provXML file you won't have to go through all of this.
If you're going to flash this will make it a breeze to do so.
Cheers!

Guaranteed, now that the device is confirmed with a 3.5mm headphone jack, Juicy will get the touchpro2 ;)

I know I'm excited!!!

There's a video of the Telus Pro with a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

I know juicy was complaining to me about this lol as one of the reasons.... I suspect he will start contemplating hard about which phone to get going forward.

Although... I am definitely not a fan of the color scheme telus chose, who knows what he'll think as well.

waiting for him to come online, heh

The keys are so small for my big fingers! But the keys are even worse on the BB's.

My phone prior to the TP was a BB Pearl. I got used to it (like crack), but the change to larger keys on the TP was a godsend!

I would hate to see you go Juicy! I have been sporting your rom's for quite a while now. I started with Mighty, but I love TF3d2 too much.

I'm still on 090618, but I haven't had any issues with the dialer. The dialer is responsive enough and the rom quick enough that I am spoiled with all these great features and HTC eye candy. Thanks again!!
