you're very welcome.

yes, the battery life so far has been very suprising (in a good way) to me too

this rom is the closest thing to rhodium on cdma right now. I don't know of any other ROM that has EzInput 2.0 and the menu systems working quite so well.

in terms of rotation speed, it is quick for me but i changed pp to 16. What are you running?

S2U2 issues are well known, but the invisible messaging is news to me... I will try to reproduce the error and find a fix

The invisible messaging app isn't really anything big.

Soft reset your phone, and watch the title bar. If you're using Titanium (can't confirm with TF3D, haven't used it with this ROM yet), after 20 seconds or so after Titanium loads, the title bar will say "Messaging" as if the app is open, but it will never show. As soon as you tap anything, it goes back to Start.

It'll do it other times, while the phone is running, but this is the best way to reproduce it.

If you had a hanging messaging app like I did, whenever it would load up like this and be "invisible" it would also hang and make the device act all weird.

I am using the PP setting in the original release. I haven't played around with changing. Screen rotation is incredibly fast everywhere except for in manila where it takes up to 5 seconds. I must agree that rhodium is quite stable. i am very impressed and pleased. I'm not using s2u2, i meant the phone canvas s2a. anyhow, thanks again.

Thats def not a let down for me. I wish WinMo could take over All the finger scrolling. The kinetics are the best I've used so far.

Question
Is there a new'ish way gwes (and/or something else) does caching? Maybe since 6 & 7 ROMs?
I only ask because TouchFlo (or possibly some of the new 6.5 windowclasses for that kinetic scrolling) makes the OS retain ALOT more memory than Titanium or even your previous roms. Somewhere around 75% RAM usage the phone suddenly slows to a crawl. Hope this helps somehow, but without really understanding the programing I can't identify what the bottleneck is for ya.
Thanks!

ya the original pp was 6mb and not 16mb .... you'll feel the rotation speed increased with the 16mb setting.

I believe in the late 5 series or early 6 series, I began using HTC's new way of ear-marking RAM for "preferred" apps like HTCAlbum, Opera, etc. That's why RAM use as % is higher, but you'll see as you use those preferred programs they use the ear-marked ram and not so much of the free ram is used (in comparasin to previous method)

There isn't really a bottle-neck. 6.5 has a great memory management system and can handle multi-tasking quite well. i haven't had the phone choke up on me yet.

I get this too and its kinda annoying. I get around by hitting the home button instead of OK after I've opened up or replied to a thread message.

Thanks btw, I was curious how they changed the memory management.
And, I agree. The multitasking abilities are amazing. I my case all I had to do was close only one of the apps I had open and everything went back to being snappyfast (akaJuicy).
I was really just stress-testing.
I only had to close one of the ones I wasn't using: Opera, Messaging, Twikini, and RSSHub.
Thanks again man.
