No, it doesn't.

This has been a ongoing issue with WinMo for a LONG time. This has nothing to do with Juicy's ROM.

If you want to set up gmail with IMAP:
- use a provisioning XML (what flashing junkie *doesn't* utilize SDConfig.txt?)
==OR==
- intentionally misspell the "gmail" in youraddress@gmail.com during the mail configuration so that WinMo doesn't try to automatically configure the account for you. Go back and fix the misspelling later.

I'm still enjoying Titanium so that's what I'm using, but.

Does anyone else have a TON of No Subject/No Sender messages being created in the SENT folder of the messaging app?

I've got about 1700 sent messages, so it says, when in reality it's probably closer to 300. It's slowing down my messaging app to a crawl again and it's been less than a week - I'd hate to have to clear my SMS box again already.

I am not having those issues. SMS seems to slow the OS down way more than email as it is but WOW!... you must have a huge messaging database/vol.
I try to not keep SMS threads more than a couple days. Plus, I always setup non-inbox imap folders to headers only and DL the messages only when I need to read them.

sidenote: I wish that size total for SMS threads would calculate the full total, not just how big the last message was, lol.

Any chance this hack can become part of the next Juicy ROM?

How to Dramatically Speed Up Your Storage Card

I usually apply that after putting on a new ROM. Testing speeds before and after with SK Tools' benchmark tests. I'm now seeing 100% faster MicroSD card read speeds.

I've looked through th1s forum and seen some questions raised over the GPS with this rom but I have not see any answers. Is there a fix to get the GPS to work? I need to use Sprint Navigation just about every day but haven't as of late because it does not work. Help please?

It's not that large right now... I'd guess 800-1000 messages total? Minus all the No subject/No sender messages, there's at least 1000 of those, too, and they keep being created.

Yeah, actually. But since the switch to 6.5 I turned off text sync because when it would sync ~2000 messages back the messaging app would just die. I did notice this started happening when I started using MyPhone... but I figured it would stop when I stopped syncing texts.

I flashed to the latest Juicy 7 yesterday and was using GPS with Garmin Mobile XT with no problem yesterday.

Just tried to make a route just now with Sprint Navigation and it worked just fine. Made the route, displayed my current location, no problems here.

So I can only suggest to try flashing again. If it still does not work, flash to what you were using before and see if the GPS on your device still works with it.

Did you do another hard reset after flashing to Juicy 7? I mean in addition to whatever was done automatically. I just always do an extra hard reset and it seems sometimes not doing that might result in problems with some ROMs.

I can delete all of the "[no sender]" messages from my phone, but if I re-sync with MyPhone, I'll get another 4-6 of them.

I just deleted all of them - was a little over 1400.

The thing is, it's only been a week since my last hard reset. I get a couple hundred every night then.

I cleared all the texts out of myphone online too... let's see if this corrects it.

Thanks for double checking. I thought I was going crazy :)

Yes, the update timer works fine. I guess working push internet is almost there :)
