Those are both wm6.5 bugs. no matter what 6.5 rom you install you will always get that invisible messaging screen, and the 6.5 screen lock likees to ask you to unlock twice and act weird

i recently switched to csdevctrl autolock and no longer experience the 'double unlock' bug. instaed, i have to wait 1-2sec before it will allow me to slide the lock. it takes the same amount of time to get the phone unlocked, but it aesthetically seems like less of a bug.

Really? I've never seen this before in any ROM I've used.

The text messages that I get that come in the wrong order are probably just a hiccup in the AIM forwarding or sprints service. BUT... it really does seem to happen only in the TouchFlo SMS interface whereas they are fine in the MS threaded view.

I'm afraid it does that same thing in the threaded messaging too.

I had 1978 messages, to be exact, and was having those issues. The messages were restored via MyPhone, re-threading of the messages was pretty quick.

As soon as I cleared my message database, the messaging app immediately acted right. Still, my phone started randomly running out of memory the next night, and wouldn't open apps (and wouldn't accept new text messages). So I had to hard reset.

I haven't restored my text messages and haven't been having any issues.

I am having a problem with the 6.5 lock screen.

When I get a call when the phone is locked, it takes a little longer than usual to ring (but the phone lights up before) and then the slide2answer window comes on, but the lock screen answer also comes on sometimes.

After I hang up, about 50% of the time, the phone completely freezes on the homescreen and I have to soft reset. I am not using TF3D2, just titanium with the favorites and weather addons.

Any similar problems? Any replacements for the windows lock? I know s2u2 has some problems with wm 6.5.

Thanks Juicy for a great rom!

It's a bit of a catch 22.... the windows 6.5 dialer isnt finalized yet, and the existing htc dialer doesn't play nicely with the windows default, so for the time being things will be a little buggy either way, unless you use the windows 6.1 default dialer :silent:

I've heard nothing but problems with S2U2

Juicy, thanks for the fantastic ROM! I have been using it since the release and would like to comment on a few things.

1) Battery life is very good. It seems to be up over my most recent 6.1 ROM.

2) I love the Rhodium Manila, I can't wait til the TP2 debuts in CDMA. My only complaints are the slow rotation speeds when opening and closing the keyboard in Manila. Other than that its great! BTW, when you get a chance, can you increase rotation speeds to "lightning fast?" lol

3) The only bugs I have experienced seem to be consistent on all hte 6.5 ROMs, being:
-S2A & 6.5 S2A disagreement
-Invisible messaging app opening

THanks again! Great work!

Hi Mlin,

you're very welcome.

yes, the battery life so far has been very suprising (in a good way) to me too

this rom is the closest thing to rhodium on cdma right now. I don't know of any other ROM that has EzInput 2.0 and the menu systems working quite so well.

in terms of rotation speed, it is quick for me but i changed pp to 16. What are you running?

S2U2 issues are well known, but the invisible messaging is news to me... I will try to reproduce the error and find a fix

either or really. you just may want to move the PP lower to 6-8MB instead of 16

S2U2 has been running great on J7. I have not had any issues I didn't have in 6.1. And those were just the old back light staying on and random unexplained unlock bugs. What issues are people having with S2u2?

So no one has a cab for the Diamond2 Keyboard that won't mess the touch pro physical keyboard?
