i have thoroughly cleaned my messaging folders. im kind of a text junky so i flushed about 5000+ messages after realizing it took almost an hour to backup/restore with ppcpimbackup

EDIT:

ok, another problem now

after my hard reset, i went to text my friend and after i put the first 2 letters of her name in the To field, the phone completely freezes up and i have to soft reset.

could this have anything to do with me using an older version of ppcpimbackup to backup/restore everything? i like to use the same version because ive had problems restoring a backup made with an older version before.

Actually, no it's not. It is similar, but the Sprint clock has a contiguous background, whereas this clock has 2 separate pieces as it's background. See the thread below, for the real Sprint clock.

Try this: This shuts off MS Auto Correction which has been causing SMS to freeze and crash.

Apply with a regiatry editor.

Anyone having an issue with data connection not working when bluetooth is turned on? And any fixes?

DO your sent messages load up? or does the screen sort of just die?

If so, the only real way to fix this is a hard reset using the clear storage method in the settings menu.

Looks like it worked. No duplicates yet, and going to the sent text messages window works fine now.

nate: look at my post on page 247, there is a fix there along with a bunch of other minor fixes for this rom.

I would link you, but i'm in class on my TP running Juicy 6

and i'm kinda lazy.
