Just flashed with the kitchen and 21042 and TP2. I'm 36 and a Network Engineer / “Jack of All Trades” for a Non-Profit in Chattanooga, TN.
So far the only issues I’ve seen are ones that have already been discussed (Clock with Wrong time – Time Zone, Contacts issue, etc…) But overall I’m loving it, especially the new splash SSK splash screen – awesome Scott, thanks for all you do! Oh, and the A-Team is a classic. I just wish it still came on.

another fix i forgot to add, if anyone gets the 'red screen of death", this happens sometime if you try to changer your wallpaper from the settings tab in touch flo, the screen goes completley red.
this doesnt happen to everyone, but if it happens to you, go into your windows folder and delete 'htcphotopicker.exe' |

Re: Bluetooth issues?
Well, the rest of the ROM looks so nice and the OK icon is just, well, ugly. I appreciate that it's larger and easier to hit, but aesthetically.... It doesn't fit in with the rest of the work you've done so well...

Do you remember the file corruption that happaned in teh earlier build of the Kitchen and I thought i twas Windows 7? Well here is a substantiating article that fits the issue. If anyone recalls I reddid the kitchen on a Vista machine tkaing the exact same steps and it was fine.
REad this to learn more. I was right. Windows 7 screwed up the kitchen. It wasnt me! http://keznews.com/5506_Windows_7_Data_Corruption |

I tried to run the new kitchen with both of the 2 new os builds but with the 21042 build i couldnt get the buildos to run correctly and on the 21038 while the rom is creating, it says it is unable to find a new-os file.

Not sure why you had trouble with 21042. That the one that I used when I created my ROM. Don't tell anyone, but i originally did have problems....but they were due to "old age".....I forgot to copy the ROM and SYS folders into the kitchen. Once I did that.....no further problems. Bob |

not sure if this belongs here or in a new thread. When I use any TP2 rom, including Scott's, and I reply to an SMS that came from someone in my contacts with a number other than the number listed as "mobile number", I get an error.
I kept thinking I couldn't get TP2 to work, but it was simply their number. I have friends with more than one cell phone. When I reply to them or send a new text to them using a number that isn't listed in the "mobile number" field in contacts I receive a 'not available' error. Anyone know how this can be fixed? |
