If you guys are cooking with SSK you have to have 5 folders. this is the root of the kitchen with a BAT file which will run the batch operations to make the ROM.
1. OEM... included in SSK Kichen (Has all the OEM Apps.)
2. ROM... inlcuded in XIP from FormerPalm's Thread
3. RUU... included in SSK kitchen
4. SYS... included in the 21018 Link i provided on this thread.
5. TOOLS... included in Kitchen.

Inside the Former's XIP you'll also find .ROM and .VM they both go into the root of SYS folder.

Once you do that u'll need to copy some missing SYS... files like Office and add it back in to your SYS folder. Missing ones can come from another SYS like 21015. Once you do this you can start the kitchen and let the BuildOS load. If you didn't configure options.xml you'll see some crazy choices... If u don't know what it is check it... lol Esp Phone stuff.

U can erase IRDA and other sys's that are NOT used by TP. u'll need some researching. You can also DIFF SYS and OEM to find and duplicated files... if there are any kitchen will yell at u... and u'll have to delete one of the dups...

and u cook... and change PP by pointing it to your final .nbh file to 10 - 12 megs. I'm on 11.11MB:headbang: close PagePool changer and flash!

1) Your phone isn't unlocked
2) you have too many items selected in the BuildOS

I did the kitchen c2 with 21015 and didn't have any similar problems.

Thanks! I just couldn't believe that I was going over...
I have been very consistent with what I put in my rom.
I guess the base of the kitchens have been growing.

I was able to build a 21018 Rom, well booting now.
Former's XIP
Jucytec's SYS
Scotts C2 kitchen w modded OEM folder.
Well if I cant get this to boot then I will try Scott's 21015 kitchen.

I am all good on what I need in there, im just not familiar with what needs to be inside the folders. As long as I have them matched up to work alls good.
It turns out to be that I cooked too large, which I have corrected now.
I did try the 21018 as you described, but it wouldnt boot. I need some more time to work on it or wait until someone puts out a matching XIP with seperated out SYS.

Can someone check Is the WM File Explorer automatically installed with Scott's C2 Kitchen? I believe that it is installed as a "default" file explorer. I did a hard reset and I seem to have lost it. Looks like I may have to reflash my phone.

EDIT: Ok, I think that there are problems in RIVER CITY
1) No File Explorer....without it can't access SD Card
2) PDA is not detected by Active Sync on Pc....Already checked the normal culprits, reintstalled AS on the PC...Still no luck
3) If I can't get to the SD card, and I can't use ActiveSync, how do I reflash? I would need some type of "autostart" file on the SD card to enter the bootloader. Is there one out there?

4) I can get to the internet via data link. What I need is a "file explorer" that can "auto-install" OTA....If I could get some type of explorer installed, then I could do a flash. But it needs to be auto installed since i can't get to a cab to start installation. Open to suggestions.
5) Alternate usb cable didn't work either.

Have what appears to be a stable build of 21018SYS.21018XIP as posted previously. I had been close then, but ran into some skin and camera issues.

I've tested Phone, email, SMS, Wireless-G, BT, GPS, camera all going at the same time when possible, and I have not had any issues, but again it's early in the test phase. To use this build all you have to do is replace your SYS and ROM folders in the kitchen. Remember to back up your originals 1st!!

Bob, are you still having issues? I noticd that this post is 2 hours old...... I'm assuming you are way too determined not to have it fixed by now.

Here is what I would do: get an external card reader, screw trying to access the SD card through the phone. Edit the SDConfig.txt and include total commander into it. Get everything in order, put the SD card back in the phone, hard reset and you should be able to work from there.
