I cant get my TP to flash!! help!

ive tried doing it in bootloader mode (running the RUU UPdate)

ive tried it by putting RUU_SIGNED.nbh on my microSD card, it just sits and says Loading... on a grey screen

i get error 262 connection

seems like no matter what i do, on both my xp and vista computers, i just cant flash this damn sprint phone - can anyone help me figure this out?

it says 0.37.0000 hermann etc on the boot loader, i cant get radio to update. do i have to install kitchen 1st? im trying that now but i dont thikn its going to work. sprint has some sortof lock on this

i also cannot get the kitchen working, it onlky shows AT&T as the carrier, and my phone is with sprint.. is it even possible with this phone?

have u formatted the sd card 2 fat 32?

and when u put the nbh file on there..make sure its not inside a folder or anything and make sure it says raphimg instead of ruu_signed

You don't have the cracked bootloader. It would mention cmonex if you did.

Load the bootloader, I know you have to rename the .nbh file if you want to flash it from your micro sd card.

Flash from microSD Card (Thanks to MadlyAlive):

1. Make sure you backup anything that is necessary to your day to day operations! At a minimum, please perform an ActiveSync to Outlook or your Exchange server prior to flashing!
2. Rename the custom ROM NBH file from RUU_Signed.nbh to RAPHIMG.nbh
3. Copy RAPHIMG.nbh to the root of your microSD Card.
4. Hold the Volume Down and Power button simultaneously. While you're still holding those 2 buttons, press the reset button with your stylus.
5. When your Touch Pro tells you to do so, press the power button to begin the flash process. If you do not get the message to press the power button to flash, there is a mistake in the name of the NBH file or you do not have the file at the root of your microSD card.
6. When flashing is complete, perform a soft reset.

Why dont you flash it through active sync? its much easier. Atleast until you get the hang of things. Im a noob and found that way much easier. good luck.

What radio are you trying to flash? I tried t o flash radio Raphael Radio 1.11.25.01 and got the same error. I believe that it is a GSM radio. As for PPC kitchen, you need to select the Herman and not the Raphael

I was about to suggest the same thing. I think everyone else just thought the phone was already unlocked. For flashing your phone, this is the 1st thing that you need to make sure that you have done.
