THe ROM is a Standard editrion build with a few apps and utilities. I beleive I fixed the ignore issue so if that can be tested as well as the other standard stuff.

CE 21109 with Matching E2 XIP. Standard Stock load plus additional apps. Live Search, Google Maps, JetCet Printing, and the stock Opera installers can be found in the SSK folder inside of my documents if you want quyick easy access.

Scott,

Do you have htc touch flo installed? I have had problems with the youtube app not working unless that is included. I think there is discussion of that somewhere here, but it might be in the GSM forum.

Well things didn't work out to well for me. I installed the Diamond Config tool to add the action program to the left soft key. Then I tried to grab a new wallpaper and everything was empty. It wouldn't show any files at all. I then tried to active sync the phone which it would no longer do either. Is anyone else having these problems with 1.5 or did the Diamond config program mess things up?

I am downloading SSK 1.5 Beta 2 now. I can't wait to load it up. With regard to the issue of Kitchen vs YouTube, my preference would be to get the Kitchen up (salivate, drool!!) and leave the YouTube application as the next step.

Scott - I have been running the hybrid SSK 1.2 kitchen cooked ROM with FormerPalm's 2E XIP (OS 21109/build 21109), all day today. I have really been putting it through it's paces, and so far am very happy with it! Everything works great as far as I have seen. Speed is great, and I havent had to soft reset all day. I have more free RAM than I've ever had. Youtube works. Call ignoring works. Notfications work. I havent run into any of the issues people are posting about the 1.5 beta.

I may not even bother flashing again once 1.5 kitchen comes out

Oh and I am still running the rom with the restored backup from SPB backup (originally backed up from the standard SSK 1.2 kitchen made rom). No funkiness.

I'm loving it!

I have a somewhat unexplainable aversion to 21109 after seeing the hodge podge of actual system versions in the SYS (according to sysversion.exe), after seeing a number of Chinese language references (meaning it may have been hacked out of a Chinese-only release), and after hearing that it is a "hexedit" version number. For the brief time I used it with the old XIP 2E (the one that broke phone settings), I didn't have any major issues, just a couple of minor ones. But with 20764 I have had zero issues. So I'm not saying you should switch - in fact I'd like to hear more about how it's working for you - if 21109 is indeed faster (source and reasons aside) and stable and bug-free, I may switch back. It's easy now.
