You made me wonder if i really saw 12 or 9... so i recooked and guess what?

I have both the SSK1.1 folder and the new SSK2.2 folder on my desktop, and when i hit select it was defaulting to the old SSK1.1 RUU!

holy crap that was the fastest i have ever seen the contents of /windows ever populate! that's awesome!

ROM Version: Used the kitchen
Speed: Seems the same as ssk 1.1 but I wasn't running that for long. Seems faster than VZN3.0
SSK Online!: I think that is the best thing since ball point pens. Great idea!
Stability: Haven't had it running for very long but so far no crashing or hangups at all
Encryption: Don't use it but if I did and was in the CIA, I wouldn't tell you

Scott! I made it happen. I solved my earlier problems (I'm the one with the Sprint TP that was all ****ed up. In fact, to fix it, I even broke down and called Verizon and convinced them to fix it even though they couldn't find the ESN in their database. At the end, I told them it was actually a Sprint device and you should have heard the guy's voice...

Anyway, I got it working and just cooked a ROM and flashed it. The sad news is, I have lots of problems.

- I cannot open or compose a message in tmail.exe (SMS or Email). I can see my inbox or another folder, but when I click on a message, nothing happens excent that the title bar blinks and the "x" button changes to an "ok" button as if it thinks it opened the window. The same thing happens when I try to compose a new message. Very weird.

- Under Start>Settings>Connections>Connections, the whole body of that screen where it's supposed to list setup connections is BLANK.

- The HTC Dialer Skins isn't here. Did you remove that? I'm just looking at the Stock WM Dialer.

- There is no Settings Applet for USB to PC Options. I can't turn off Advanced Network Funcionality and therefore I can't sync....

What's going on. Why am I having all these problems? My BuildOS Setups includes:

Win Live

WinLive Search
HTC GPS Tool
QuickGPS
Manila HTC Black Animated
HTC Keyboard
TF Start Menu

Thats the key! Everything is related.... If this happens then you hosed the sys files somehow. Maybe redownload and try again? What OEMS did you add? Can you post them and a screenie of Build OS. I went through this soooooooooo many times in my younger days ;c(

Another thing... You coulda hosed a PROVXML. I think.

Or try8ing building a ROM with the default selections or JUST my selections only. No other OEM's.

AND GET IE 6 OUT OF THERE!!!! NOW!!!! That ****er is very unstable!

hrm. I see. That's so weird. This is exactly the same thing that happened to me when I tried 1.1 last night. That is what got me into this mess in the first place... And that was off an entirely different download of an entirely different file. Does it look like I'm using some combination of OEMs that is causing the problem?

Ugh.

Maybe I'll just install standard.
